Nargis Overacting ki dukaan. I can say one of the worst Horror movie I ever seen.
Its not a horror movie Its Funny movie without story...
Honestly, its rather dull in places and many places for that matter.
You can go for a short walk in the first half and then another and another if you want to burn some more calories and still wont miss much.
Standard couple and song and dance stuff with a little introduction to the horror element. The plot moves to the horror part gradually but nothing new here. Standard run of the mill stuff, all the way to the end. The lead dealing with his demons with a little help from his girl and an aide. Plenty of holes and nothing interesting.
Feel really sorry for Nargis. Why does she have to accept such poor assignments? They wont take you anywhere....only further down i guess.
Wouldnt even recommend it fans of Nargis or horror. Dont think theres any other target audience left.
Amavas is an awkward, primitive and farcical genre mashup of horror/mystery/musical that misses the mark on all three, ending up more of a comedy. My expectations were low after last year's Bhaagamathie but happily this was a slight improvement. The horror element consisted of repetitive inconsequential loud jump scares. Its spooky atmosphere kind of worked but was ruined by the actors' inability to convey genuine fear. Acting was mostly sub-par especially from the deadpan male lead and annoying comedic butler. Songs seemed out of place and unnecessary like a bad musical. The story was laughably contrived with twists that felt like total afterthoughts. In the second act there is a prolonged flashback sequence of drama and romance that felt like a cheap soap opera. On the plus side the two leading ladies were drop-dead gorgeous, some of the jump scares worked and the catchy club dance number in the middle had me tapping my toes. 3/10.
Rated 2 just because I kinda liked one of the songs thassit !!
Amawas is another horror flick from Bollywood. Story is routine and nothing new. Till the interval movie is very boring and totally failed to connect. I was nearly looing in the hall. After interval something being happens in the story and movie trails further anyhow. Near ending there are so many twists and suspense . All those makes you to watch till end. But this is not sufficient to make a movie must watchable. Acting was so so from all actors. Jump scares are all okay.
In short this is nothing new horror movie. Only watch on your own and you have no other choice.
