There isn't one clear premise. But, this fable, parable will keep you engaged throughout in general. The performances by Sunil Grover, Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra are absolutely fantastic. Radhika Madan is such a find. And Sanya matches her step for step in likeability, performance, pitch, tone. Beautiful. Sunil is the male find of the year. What a magnetic artist. The background music was also lovely. The recurring motifs help keep the film afloat despite the lack of a clear premise.
The one love song was gorgeous as usual.
The one love song was gorgeous as usual.
Besides the conventional storytelling, what works in the closing section of the movie is the way how the tales of two sisters remained compelling connected even after all the melodrama and the decisions of staying far from each other. Conversion disorder is present when we don't want to face the realities around us so we unconsciously decide to stop sensing and perceiving some realities. It's refreshing to get a touch of conversion disorder in the story, of course rarely used in the cinema. I would recommend watching the movie, it's mostly fun and touch of humor.
I WATCHED fdfs in pakistan believe me guys director done a superb job... 2 main actresses brilliantly nailed it
Set is on a small village...story is about daily war b/w two sister... awesome script, acting & direction...
Sanya & Radhika have taken this film to another level. The idea for the story was great and could have been a brilliant short film story too. But the screenplay was above average. Not bad nor great. But am very happy that here is a film with a good story line but no male leads. It's driven by 2 female characters and the fact that the film is not about rape victim, daughter fighting to prove what she is to her parents/ husband, a lonely woman in a man's world etc,. This is full on woman vs woman, sister vs sister, great acting vs great acting. Kudos to both the actresses but Vijay Raaz doesn't vanish in between these two girls. He performs what he does best. Sunil Grover is as usual anywhere. Happy that Vishal is still Vishal.
A film worthy of watching again.
