'Love You Like That' is a breezy, fun rom-com with a host of off-beat characters with a genuinely witty script, along with a cast that knows how to have fun with it. While it stays within familiar rom-com territory, it does so with a genuine sense of sincerity, a nice change in these cynical times. Allira Jaques shines as the free-spirited Honey, and features an interesting turn by Jarratt, who adds his own unique layer of humor and heart.
Though it doesn't break new ground, 'Love You Like That' is a fun, light-hearted watch that delivers what it promises for its target audience: a feel-good movie filled with laughs and second chances. The colourful and punchy cinematography showcases the beautiful coastal regions of Australia's East Coast. Slickly produced, this film is a great film for those craving an earnest and uplifting rom-com.

I usually love Aussie movies but this was just appalling.
At first I thought it was going to be just another stereotypical cheesy romantic "comedy". However, it turned out to be the most cringeworthy movie I've seen. Boring, predictable and the acting was that terrible.
The only part we found funny (hilarious actually) was the comically absurd facial expressions of Melissa in the cafe scene at the beginning, it was like watching a comedy sketch from Fast Forward. Her acting was so awkward I felt like I was watching a school play.
I seriously had second hand embarrassment watching the whole thing.

What a fun film, as Romcom's go this one kept me guessing and laughing, great performance from Steph Tidwell. Storyline has some moments of really! But the overall theme of love being something we should embrace no matter the cost is endearing.
This movie was fab. It was so refreshing to see an Aussie film that has a quality cast, exciting storyline, and was just a solid, feel good, uplifting story. We don't have movies like this anymore so I loved every bit! It was sweet, romantic and great for the whole family to enjoy. A few twists that kept you guessing, comedy, great natural acting, beautiful scenery and a touch of magic. I loved it!! Will be watching again when it streams.
It's an Australian movie, I wasn't expecting great acting and it was like watch 'around the twist' so it's cute to watch, it's also like home and away but less drama.
The main character was wayyy tooo much she looked like she was over the top at times... the script wasn't adding up either. I'll go get the Nutella and nect minute they all exit and forgot about the Nutella. She also forgot her coffee she loved so much??
The drinking of bourbon in the morning... arnt we trying to help people not to drink???
What's with the profanity some people might think it's not there but I know it's too much for a feel good movie and if it's a family movie.
