Extremely chaotic and shifting in suspence and comedy. because its a comedy about a deaf woman who has a deaftifying love against her abusive partner, kills him like a deaf woman do, are being hired in by hired killers to do the job as a hired killer.
there a lots of money and pride in the kill for hire profession, and the devious killeress dives into the project with or without batteries in her hearing aid, and makes this madening tumbing ride towards wealth and eardrumming fame like in a turner and hooch style black comedy version.
the female lead really does her job as deaf, her mimics and way of vocabular expression are a 1 hundred percent hit, so do also the male lead who has written and directed and most surtainly paid for this whole operation steel wool.
the rest of the cast gives you the steretypical image of the underworld, all delivering well. there are parts, though few, that couldve been arranged differently and the end section are weird, but overall its a warpspeeding story that will bring joy and happiness to y'all, if pimping cider or beer with a paper clip in your ear.
the grumpy old man recommends a watch, after all its up to you to consider, i saw it and liked it.

If you're a fan of quirky, complicated and collaborative feature-length mysteries you will get a kick outta this one. Although the acting is bad-distracting versus bad-ridiculous in places, overall, this thing carries itself well and has enough purposeful (I am going to go ahead and assume) AND accidental issues both with continuity and structure that it gets you thinking AND laughing. Extremely fun film that you'll regret not taking the time to watch.
This movie was solid. It would have benefitted from a higher budget but they did a great job with what they presumably given. The acting was tough in certain sections but storyline really carried the film. The concept of a deaf housewife turned hitman is pretty unique.
About the movie "Steele Wool" -- Well, the story is different. The heroes aren't heroes. They're offbeat characters. The acting is quite good. The film is worth watching.
The premise: What happens when a religious woman, a housewife, kills her abusive husband, who a gang of bad guys, who happen to be hit men, also want dead and have placed a reward on his head. Well, they see the housewife as a perfect assassin and hire her to kill people. This lady assassin doesn't mind killing bad guys, but after completing her first assignment she finds out the guy she killed was good guy, and she has remorse and her employers think a remorseful assassin is a risk to their organization, and so she becomes a liability to be eliminated, and so what happens next?
The lady is accompanied by dude, an ex-beau, who now sees her as a sister, and he and she, go on a dark, comical journey through a kind of hell, but do they find redemption at end? Well ... Watch the movie.
There's a lot of R-rated language.

A buddy of mine mentioned this movie to me recently so I decided to check it out. I'm not a big indie flick kinda guy, but this one was decent. The acting is on par with most low budget productions. The movie is worth giving a watch, there are some pretty funny parts in the movie
