Tom Cochrane: Life Is a Highway

My favorite TOM COCHRANE. He's back with the latest and greatest of the Cochrane Classics. Put it in the car with the kids and the wife and that's a Sunday. Take 'em to Pizza Hut on a 7pm Sunday fun time, and NOW we're cooking. Get back at 8pm because they were full, SUNDAY! Reheat microwavable pizza leftover , 8.15, pop open a cold one. 8.17. The kids aren't happy, the wife is tarnished with hate. The papers are filed, I sign them. Half of the house goes to her, the kids never talk to me again. This is not fun. This is not funny. Therapy for two years, life is stuck, what do I do in my free time but try to watch tv. It gets better, I hit the gym, try to expand my social circle. James from the local bar and I start hanging out. Trivia nights on Tuesday, the grill starts to heat up. One night James calls. He needs a friend. I find him in his house, a mess. I pull him out of his wrecked recliner chair and shove him to my car. We're going to the Hut. He needs this, I need this. It's full. The car blasting my favorite Tom Cochrane. We go to the store next door instead. Things are alright.
