It's cheesy and weird. The only thing good about the film is that it was filmed in Australia. The characters are unlikable and the plot is predictable. I'm sorry disney, but this ain't it.
Movie is decent, characters are typical, and the story is heading in an obvious direction. the only highlights is the chemistry between Cory and Oliver and Cory and her friends.
Side note I'd love to see more movies with Trae Robin he seems like a promising new actor and is very easy on the eyes.

This is the most terrible and predictable movie I have ever seen. The acting was horrible. The music during the soccer games sounded like it was for preschoolers. Oliver was just creepy. I would recommend this if you are in the mood for laughing.
Without doubt, the worst film I have ever seen. The scene in the classroom with the teacher expressing his disappointment at the presentation contains the single worst example of acting you are likely to see.
A decent idea for a teen movie and alright acting but the story is simplistic, almost naive.
The plot points are weak and are almost all ineffective, nothing is followed through.
The leading girl barely even plays football/soccer in the movie, sure it is realistic but it makes her change being less important.
The sports scenes are embarrassing, not a single player can shoot the ball and there are no fakes and dribbles in the game what so ever. Goals are only scored because the goalkeepers are sieves.
Bad knowledge of the game, little to no chemistry between actors. There is no suspense in the movie what so ever.

- TriviaAlthough it's called football in most parts of the world, it's actually called soccer in both Australia (where the movie is set) and the US (where Cory is from).
- GoofsJanessa is injured at the end of 90 minutes and is replaced by Cory, despite the referee blowing her whistle for full time. Under normal soccer regulations, a player cannot be replaced in this manner before a penalty shootout.
