Heavens to Betsy 2

I saw Heavens to Betsy 2 on Purflix, it is a charming, modern, tale that enriched the spirit and entertain the mind! The ending is the best where she stands up for herself. It was great to see a Christian women respectfully stand up for her self.

Well I must admit that while I thoroughly enjoyed the FIRST 'Heavens to Betsy', I was a little skeptical when I saw there was a sequel. Can you say 'Grease 2'? I rest my case. So imagine my delight when my family and I sat down to THIS sequel that surely made me rethink my pre-conceived notions on the matter. I won't rehash what most people have already said in praise of the movie and its players. Suffice it to say that this sequel surpasses the original! When I went to look for other films by this production company (Sole Productions), I learned that Producer Robert Alaniz is working on a departure from Betsy that will be out in 2020. I can't wait! But aside from that, I see that 'Heavens to Betsy 2' has been awarded 3 prestigious awards from the ICVM (International Christian Visual Media) group. They are to Christian films what the Academy Awards are to secular films. Kudos to all! The 'Betsy' films are perfect family viewing for the holidays. Break out the 'milk and cookies' and get ready for the warm and fuzzies. Peace <><

Once more, this fantastic ensemble comes together, along with brilliant new additions, to deliver a profound message of hope, perseverance, and staying true to yourself. Along with signature comedy delivered in most Alaniz films, Heavens to Betsy 2 is a relatable story with relatable characters, grounded in challenges and self-dialogue that most of us have struggled with in some way or another. Although the main character Betsy is no longer in an alternate universe, Heavens to Betsy 2 still hits home with the hearts & minds of audiences just as much as before, if not much more. Heavens to Betsy 2 is a great continuation of a story of conflict, and staying true to yourself & what you believe in. And further more, Heavens to Betsy 2 stands apart proudly as it's own film, yet it is also the perfect addition to the original story we all fell in love with. This is definitely a sequel you won't want to miss!

God truly can do anything. Excellent movie of God's faithfulness if we trust him!!!

Heavens To Betsy 2 is a must see. I loved watching Betsy and the rest of this great cast take us through this entertaining story of a young women learning to stand strong In her faith.
