Roll Red Roll

This case is so incredibly cut and dried that it is ridiculous. One can literally follow the media posted regarding the rape; the evidence is undeniable. I had the pleasure of attending a screening of Roll Red Roll and spoke with the director after. Schwartzman is a brilliant story teller, and I am so glad that rape culture is coming to the forefront of the public mind.

Weird title though or at least I'm not sure what "hidden" message it contains. Whatever the case the documentary is not an easy watch. The whole argument that women are to blame for actions men take is beyond disgusting. Especially when it comes to consent.

The topic itself is quite horrendous and it will trigger some people to say some incredibly sexist and disgusting things. But while there may be other cases with gray areas, this one was so crystal clear you do wonder ... well actually the film takes a lot of the questions away. There is the "boys will be boys" and "let's not ruin their career over some minor thing". If you feel sick when hearing or even reading this, it means you have a certain amount of decency. I think I've seen something that also had the topic or rather the same "event" and explored it, but this was almost going further, showing depths that you really don't want to see or explore in other human beings ...

Only in America! And it takes a BBC documentary to showcase this dirty town.

I'm a fella , I was a young lad once and I was no angel but we never considered behaving like the filth on show in this. The boys on video made my skin crawl and if it had been my sister no sheriff or judge or justice or whatever would have passed sentence before myself and my mates.

It really is a case of money buying justice, the principle and coaching staff should be jailed for enabling.

What a craphole of country . Not even 3rd world

I was first asked to see a viewing of this film for extra credit in my Human Sexuality class, but I would honestly watch it again. This film is so insightful in regards to rape culture and toxic masculinity in American society. It does an excellent job of diverting the attention from the survivor and really honing in on the perpetrators who were at fault. Highly recommend if there is a screening in your area!!Sexuality

It was a good movie needed more details on things but I know that the director did not want to make it more painful for the victims. It's not fake it's all public record and we all watched it unfold on the news.
