Either the system is error or robot give the rating.. seriously guys give high rating for the movie that actually you can watch in tv with super below average movie.

Like the tittle said, i rarely love comedy genre but this movie hit me very well. This movie even use local language called ''Javanese'' which mean very good, i mean this is good way to make people know if indonesia has a lot language and different culture. I want to see more people inspired by this and use their local language too such as sundanese or another local language too.

Story 9/10 This movie about 4 friends that want to be recognized by a lot people. They create a band called "Yowis Ben" which Ben is pronounced as Band in here. I dont want to spoil too much in here but there will be something called "Problem" in here. So better to watch it because i dont want to spoil too much lol.

Comedy 10/10 This is have good comedy, the actor bring the comedy very well. This is maybe the first time i love comedy movie so maybe you can give a try too with this movie.

Music 8.5/10 Have a good music and it really fit to the scene. Since this movie story about their band called "Yowis Ben" so they have their own music that you can find on youtube. Just personal opinion, i dont like just 1 song on here because it doesnt really fit/not my taste for me, but this is just my personal opinion.

Overall i will give this movie 9/10. If you want to find out what a good movie with good comedy and have moral message then this movie is good for you.

One star to balance the review because this film is worth below 7 stars. Damn it, i thought it is only in politic we used cyber army.. or maybe just blind nationalism..

This is the first Film written, play, and co-directed by Bayu Skak (a famous Youtuber from Malang, Indonesia). He put javanese as a main language in this movie like all his videos on Youtube, which is good for the variety and preserving the local culture of Malang. Before I watch this movie, I'm afraid that this movie will copycat thailand movie "Suckseed" (based on the trailer), but that's not 100% true. The only same thing was Bayu and his friends want to show their existence through music, that's all. The comedy was good, especially in the beginning of the movie. But after that, unfortunately there are many hit and miss with the comedy line. About the story, this movie has a good potential, but not executed well enough. At least there was two scene that I don't understand the reason behind the cause and effect as the story progress, It just doesn't make sense. I think there are many plot hole in this movie causing that, or deleted scene maybe, I don't know. About the acting, Joshua did a very great job here.

This is my honest review, please don't bash me Skakmate, lol.

Edit: Seriously, this movie got 9.7 now? C'mon, this is too much. I know that 95% voters was Skakmate. Guys, this is not how you support your idol, give him/this movie an objective score, for his own good, so he can make a better movie next time.
