So glad I didn't read the reviews

Holy hell people don't like this show! So glad I just watched it before reading anything about it because I thought it was pretty darn funny and interesting.

It's only 28 mins, so give it a try.

I'm going to be patient

First off I did genuinely laugh at least once while watching the pilot, which is more than I can say for the reboot of Murphy Brown or The Conners. Because of that I will give it a chance despite being neither a Lena Dunham or Jennifer Garner fan. Have to say, Garner nails the uptight, control freak role.

Watch the original UK Version

I watched and enjoyed the original UK version written by the very talented Julia Davis. This US version doesn't quite hit the mark I am not sure the british humour translated well to this, even with the well known cast. Do yourself a favour and watch the UK version.

Really crappy writing---people don't speak like this

Surprised at the writing and how the characters interact with one another. People simply don't talk this way to one another so it's not at all funny, just awkward. It's only 30 mins so will see if it gets any better.
