Arnold Schwarzeneggers Only 2 Villain Roles Could Not Be More Different From Each Other
Image
Schwarzenegger has only played two villains in his career: T-800 in The Terminator and Mr. Freeze in Batman & Robin. Despite his massive success as a heroic lead, Schwarzenegger's performances as a villain in these roles remain iconic. Schwarzenegger's reluctance to play villains stemmed from a concern about losing favor with his audience, but he still made an impact in these roles.

Despite starring in nearly 80 feature films and television shows, Arnold Schwarzenegger has only played two villains in his career. Schwarzenegger, who first appeared as Hercules in the 1970 adventure comedy Hercules in New York, has played several iconic heroes throughout his 54-year acting career. These include Conan in Conan the Barbarian (1982), Matrix in Commando (1985), Dutch in Predator (1987), John Kimble in Kindergarten Cop (1990), Harry in True Lies (1994), and Trench Mauser in The Expendables franchise (20102014).

As a result of Schwarzenegger's trend to play action heroes and lead protagonists, he has surprisingly...

Arnold Schwarzenegger's 2023 Comeback Makes His Lost Western Show More Disappointing
Image
Schwarzenegger's new Netflix show, Fubar, is a success, showcasing his action talents and marking a big moment in his TV career. The success of Fubar makes Schwarzenegger's scrapped Western series with Amazon even worse, as it would have capitalized on his Netflix success. The lost opportunity of Schwarzenegger's Western show is a shame considering his impressive performance in Fubar.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is having a television comeback in 2023, but that makes the actor's lost Western show even more disappointing. Schwarzenegger is one of Hollywood's most beloved stars, and his name has a tendency to draw crowds to any project he's in. However, his television career has been less consistent than his film success. Things are looking up, though, with Schwarzenegger's new Netflix show doing well on the platform.

Fubar finds Schwarzenegger taking on the role of Luke Brenner, a nearly retired CIA operative who's forced into one more mission to save his fellow operative and daughter.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals Stuggle With Body Image and Aging: “It Just Sucks!”
Image
Despite aging, Arnold Schwarzenegger remains a formidable presence in Hollywood, proving that age is just a number. Schwarzenegger's career has spanned multiple platforms, from movies to TV, showcasing his versatility and enduring popularity. With future projects already lined up, including a potential return as Conan the Barbarian, Schwarzenegger shows no signs of slowing down.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the world’s best known action heroes, and has a physique that many would die for. However, the man himself is not quite as enamoured with his appearance as he used to be now that age is taking a toll on him.

In a frank discussion on The Howard Stern Show, Schwarzenegger opened up about how he often hates looking in the mirror and seeing his body as it is now, at the age of 76, compared to when he was in his prime. Once one of the world’s most famous bodybuilders,...

The MCU Just Created The Most Over-Powered Hero Who Could Kill Every Avenger
Image
Warning: This article has Spoilers for Secret Invasion episode 6

G'iah, the new leader of the Skrulls in Secret Invasion, is now the most powerful superhero in the MCU, surpassing all the Avengers in terms of power. G'iah possesses the powers of several Avengers and other characters who shed blood at the Battle of Earth in Endgame. G'iah's Super-Skrull form makes her virtually invulnerable, with Asgardian genetics, a healing factor, magic, and various super strength variations, making her pretty much unbeatable.

Marvel Studios just introduced the most over-powered superhero in MCU history obliterating every power ranking of the Avengers and their fellow heroes by making Emilia Clarke's G'iah the ultimate Super-Skrull. Secret Invasion's final episode set up G'iah as the new leader of the Skrulls as Gravik was killed off (somehow) and Nick Fury left Earth once more to run Sabre's space station with his wife. The episode also...

Jamie Bell in Génération RX (2005)
Outriders Campaign Length: How Long is the Game?
Jamie Bell in Génération RX (2005)
If you suddenly find yourself very excited about Outriders, you’re not alone. While the game’s demo proved to be much more engaging than many people suspected it would be, it’s really the fact that 2021 has gotten off to such a slow start that has made the prospect of diving into this title that much more appealing than it may otherwise be.

In case you don’t know, Outriders is a new looter shooter from developer People Can Fly: the same studio responsible for brilliant shooters like Bulletstorm and the Painkiller games. Much like those titles, Outriders features a chaotic style of shooter gameplay that emphasizes quick movements, outlandish weapons, and waves of enemies.

Unlike the studio’s most notable previous efforts, Outriders utilizes a “looter” gameplay style similar to what we’ve seen in games like Destiny and Anthem. That means that the title emphasizes classes,...

Arnold Schwarzenegger Spy Drama From Scorpion EP Lands at Netflix

The Running Man has found a place to stay for a while: Netflix has handed a script-to-series commitment to a spy drama starring action movie icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, according to our sister site Deadline.

The untitled project, which was first announced back in August, is an hour-long international spy adventure that centers on Schwarzenegger’s character and his daughter, played by Monica Barbaro (Chicago Justice, UnREAL). Scorpion creator Nick Santora will serve as creator and executive producer.

Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star in TV Series from Scorpion Creator
Arnold Schwarzenegger
If the realm of scripted television is a “choppa,” then it appears that Arnold Schwarzenegger will, for the first time in his illustrious career, finally get to it.

The action icon is teaming with Skydance Television for an untitled television project with designs of becoming an hour-long series that will see Schwarzenegger as the star and executive producer, reports Deadline. The would-be series is being described as “a global spy adventure with a father (Schwarzenegger) and daughter at the center of the story.” While that sounds a bit like the climactic moments of Schwarzenegger’s starring role in director James Cameron’s 1994 classic, True Lies, there’s no indication that the project is an adaptation of any kind.

Nick Santora is the creator of the Schwarzenegger television project, set to develop and executive-produce as part of an existing overall deal with Skydance Television. Best known as the creator/executive producer...

Lucasfilm Confirms More Cameos In Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’s Final Battle
The final battle of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is a stark contrast to The Last Jedi. That film ended with the last remnants of the Resistance holed up on Crait with Leia pleading with the galaxy for help. Nobody answered the call and it was only Luke Skywalker buying them time that allowed them to escape. Clearly, Lando Calrissian is much more of a people-person, as the fleet he raised to attack Exegol is the biggest we’ve ever seen in Star Wars.

According to a new blog on StarWars.com, Lando managed to secure the help of a massive 14,000 ships in a very short amount of time – a literally unbelievable number. There were many cameos among this fleet, as well. Fans spotted the Ghost from Rebels in a teaser trailer, and others include the Crucible (owned by Hondo Ohnaka in The Clone Wars), the Shadow Caster (belonging...

Avengers: Endgame Final Battle Originally Had More Ant-Man And Wasp
The big final battle scene of Avengers: Endgame has to be the most ambitious sequence ever assembled in the McU. Given how many characters are involved and the scope of the fight, it’s not surprising that some material was removed from the finished cut. What is surprising, though, is that one deleted moment from the battle took the form of a comedy/musical beat featuring Ant-Man and the Wasp.

/Film has run a piece that digs deep into how the big battle sequence came together, drawing from interviews with various members of the crew. One of these is editor Jeff Ford, who revealed to the site that there was originally an extra bit of comic relief in which Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) accidentally attract the attention of the Outriders.

“There was also an additional joke where Rudd and Evangeline were in the van,...

Flashback: Jimmy Page Plays a Ragged ‘Stairway to Heaven’ in 1983
Jimmy Page
Jimmy Page went to some dark places in the years following John Bonham’s sudden death in September 1980. Led Zeppelin had been at the center of the guitarist’s life since the band began 12 years earlier and they were gearing up for an American tour when the tragic news hit and brought all band activity to an immediate halt. The Who responded to the death of their drummer two years earlier by simply hiring a new one and hitting the road, but Zeppelin were unwilling to go that route and...

Kevin Feige at an event for Thor : Le Monde des ténèbres (2013)
Did Avengers: Endgame Trailer Cleverly Edit Around These Surprise Characters?
Kevin Feige at an event for Thor : Le Monde des ténèbres (2013)
The 3D Avengers: Endgame trailer reportedly shows that Hawkeye was running from an Outrider during the fiery tunnel scene. The Russo Brothers have admitted to using decoy footage in the upcoming movie to provide misdirects, much like they did with Infinity War. Plus, Kevin Feige has revealed that the majority of the trailer footage released thus far has come from the first 15 to 20 minutes of the movie. However, it looks like they forgot to do some of their clever editing for the 3D trailer.

When the second trailer for Avengers: Endgame more notable scenes of this supposedly happening is when Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, and Rhodey come running outside to look at the sky. There is a large gap between the characters that may be someone else who was edited out to avoid spoilers. Now, there is more evidence that this was the case.

In the latest Avengers: Endgame trailer,...

Avengers: Endgame Lego Set Reveals Iron Man’s Armor Room
In the past few months, we’ve seen a couple of reports claiming that an Iron Man armor room will be among the Lego sets released to tie in with Avengers: Endgame, and sure enough, it seems that the box art for the set has now made its way online.

Though it remains to be seen whether the film itself will actually be taking us back to the armor room, it’s easy to imagine Marvel’s Phase 3 finale including such an inherently nostalgic setting. As well as featuring an array of suits from across Tony Stark’s 11-year run in the McU, the set provides a couple of Outrider minifigs. From here, it may be tempting to conclude that the Avengers: Infinity War sequel will feature a scene where Iron Man battles Thanos’ minions in his own home, but it’s also very possible that Lego is just looking...

Avengers: Endgame Lego Leak Teases Huge Avengers Compound Battle
While the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame already made it perfectly clear that the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel will be taking us back to the team’s HQ, a recent Lego leak goes one further to suggest that the Avengers compound, as well as Tony Stark’s armor room, might serve as the backdrop for a little action.

The first of the two leaked descriptions describes a set titled “Avengers Compound Battle,” which is said to include minifigures for Hulk, Ant-Man, Thanos, and one of the Mad Titan’s Outrider minions. The second is the latest of multiple leaks to allege a set titled “Iron Man Armor Room,” which reportedly comes with models for the Mark 1, 5, 41 and 50 armors, along with the “Igor” suit, a Tony Stark head (presumably to switch onto the armor minifigs), and another Outrider.

New Avengers: Endgame Leak Reveals Another Surprising Return
Earlier this week, an Avengers: Endgame Lego leak emerged which teased such potentially revealing toys as a new Quinjet and a giant, Hulkbuster-style suit for War Machine. But look a little closer and you may find another significant detail in the villains that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are fighting.

While some of the new sets come with minifigures for Thanos’ Outrider minions, the images also seem to confirm the legitimacy of an older leak that showed the Lego design for the Chitauri. Though these extra-terrestrial figures have shown up briefly in a few McU installments, by far their biggest moment in the spotlight has been 2012’s The Avengers, in which they fought the titular heroes in the Battle of New York. And while there’s no guarantee that the creatures will make it into the upcoming film, you can see why some fans are taking the new image as further...

Flashback: Jimmy Page Plays an Instrumental ‘Stairway’ in 1988
Jimmy Page
Jimmy Page kept himself pretty busy in the Eighties. In addition to co-founding the short-lived supergroup Xyz, he composed the soundtrack to Death Wish II, launched the Firm with Free and Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers, reunited with Led Zeppelin for a couple high-profile one-offs, and guest-starred with everyone from Roy Harper to the Rolling Stones. Late in the decade, he also made time to record his debut solo album, Outrider, still the only non-soundtrack LP he’s issued on his own to date. (David Fricke’s two-star Rolling Stone...

Special Avengers: Endgame Footage To Screen At Fan Event
Aside from the first Avengers: Endgame teaser released earlier this month, official footage from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel is still in maddeningly short supply, and as the anticipation builds for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ next outing, a lot of fans will take any opportunity they can get for just one more taste of the adventure to come.

Enter this new announcement from The Sincura Group, which is offering its members the opportunity to attend a screening of a short segment from Endgame. The event is set to be held in the UK some time in April, and will feature a Q&A with co-director Joe Russo and members of the cast, along with an afterparty where fans can meet the team.

"Avengers: Infinity War" - 'Cap' vs 'The Outrider'
Sneak Peek new images of Hot Toys 'Captain America' action figure, in the laser-scanned likeness of actor Chris Evans, as he battles an alien 'Outrider' from Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War", opening April 27, 2018:

"...Marvel Comics' 'Outriders' introduced in the 'Free Comic Book Day' issue of the title 'Infinity' (2013) are used by 'Thanos' as scouts, foot soldiers and 'disposal killers'...

"...meant to seek out new planets with weak inhabitants, so that the world could be razed should it fail to produce a a tribute worthy of the 'Mad Titan'.

"Outriders are not born, they are made. A genetically engineered parasite-assassin solely devoted to the whims of its maker.

Hot Toys Reveals Their Avengers: Infinity War Captain America Action Figure
Here it is! Hot Toys has revealed their 1/6th scale collectible action figure for Captain America from Avengers: Infinity War. I actually own every version of Captain America that Hot Toys has made from each of the films that he has appeared in. So, it looks like I'll have to drop some money on this bad boy to complete my collection. After all... Captain America could very well die in this movie. It's just something that most fans are expecting to happen.

This new figure gives us a close-up and detailed look at Caps suit, which as you can tell has been through a lot. As you can see, it's really worn out. It makes me wonder... how do superheroes like Captain America clean their suits!? Do they take the time to clean them? Do they take it to the dry cleaners? Do they never clean it and just let...

Looks Like Infinity War’s Mystery Villain Has Been Identified
Call off the search and remove those tin-foil hats; for Infinity War‘s mystery villain has been identified.

This past weekend, some new promo art for Joe and Anthony Russo’s Avengers sequel appeared to reveal a brand new villain, who would presumably be aiding Thanos in his quest to collect the six Infinity Stones. It appears that is indeed the case, but this alien parasite doesn’t seem to be a member of the Black Order; nor is it in any way related to Marvel’s Mad Titan.

Instead, what we have here is an Outrider, which hails from a race of genetically engineered humanoid creatures with six arms and a mean attitude. In fact, those same creatures can be seen charging into the Battle of Wakanda during Infinity War‘s inaugural teaser, which showed Captain America (Nomad?), Black Widow, Hulk, Falcon, War Machine and the fresh-faced Bucky Barnes...

Avengers: Infinity War Promo Art Reveals Mysterious New Villain
Proving that you can’t conquer (obliterate?) the world alone, Josh Brolin’s almighty Thanos will be bringing one or two villainous friends to the party when Avengers: Infinity War checks into theaters in May.

In his quest to round up all six Infinity Stones, the Mad Titan is expected to seek the assistance of the Black Order, a ragtag group of space oddities that all hold one thing in common: their bloodline can be traced back to Thanos.

That’s right, not unlike Nebula and Gamora – Karen Gillan and Zoe Saldana, respectively – the Black Order are the adopted children of Thanos, and wage war against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in his name. There are four in total (read: Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, and Cull Obsidian), but some recent promo art now indicates that there may actually be one more.

As you can see in the gallery below,...
