Karwaan was a very crisply made movie. There were no distractions from the story line. Everything blended in so well. Irrfan was his usual best with his dead pan delivery of witty one liners and his absolute mortification at the behaviour and apparent value system of today's millenials. That in itself was a point of hilarity.
Mithila Palkar was fresh and unaffected, worldly wise yet wide eyed in her role of the collegian. Dulquer Salmaan's acting was effortless and he was a real charmer. He has clearly inherited his acting skills from dad Mammootty.
Certainly worth a watch!
What an amazing movie from beginning till end this movie is roller coaster of fun... bollywood should learn from this movie... this is how comedy movie should made
A laughter riot, not one of your average typical Bollywood slapstick comedies where the actors are cracking lame jokes which we would crack in school. This isn't your typical comedy where there is confusion in the end of the movie and the director is trying hard to make you laugh.
This is new and genuine. It has 98% comedy and 2% serious. The serious scenes literally make you think and remember your dear ones.
Acting is awesome, you can never expect less especially from Irrfan Khan. He plays Shaukat. Dulquer Salman plays Avinash who has lost his father, Mithila Palkar acts as Tanya who has lost her grandmother in the same road accident. Now an irresponsible delivery agency swaps the coffins, Avinash has to go to Ooty and tags along with Shaukat and Tanya.
The laughter levels were very high in the cinema hall, not a single soul was silent. A great road trip movie after Bombay to Goa.
This is also one of those pleasant movies where you feel happy, like Yeh Mera Sunday, Delhi in a Day or Tum Milo Toh Sahi. A perfect cocktail for a beautiful day where you want to do nothing but smile and be happy.
Verdict: Don't miss if you love comedy

The movie is an average one, but Irran Khan will make it above average.. He won't let you get bore... Karwaan is Irrfan!
Movie based on Road Trip always connects. Be it Highway or Piku or Chef or Due Date or from any language. It just connects.
Trailer did impress me but the songs from the movie were just mind-blowing. Just listen to the songs while you are on a trip, you will understand why I liked it.
Being a 2 hrs movie it starts slow but it keeps you engaged due to laugher it provides continuously. But post-interval is where the movie hits it's top gear.
Story is about dead body getting exchanged. The big plus about the movie is that it knows what it wants to convey and that's RELATIONSHIP.
I believe we can't judge actors because who are we to judge them? But they are too good.
Must watch.
