a good movie

The Not So Talented Mr. Ripley

It's basically a budget 'The Talented Mr. Ripley'. A bit slow and a disappointing ending. Not really worth watching.

WOW

The script was intriguing and soul searching about class struggle and how it is difficult to overcome your past. The cinematography was beautiful. The way the shots were done really increased the beauty of the setting and enhanced the progress of the plot. The sound work was great especially since so much of the filming was outside. Each actor seemed to become their character. I heard that the writers/directors had only a $60,000 budget. If that's so this was a phenomenal work of script writing and film making.

Dreadful, tedious borefest I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Not so much Thriller but limp Drama.

Not much to say about this one except if you watch it you will regret losing an hour and a half of sleep!

Broken Glass

I watched this one just to see if it was as bad as the ratings. It was. If the 10/10 reviews aren't fake, then I'll watch it 50 more times. The one thing it does is keep you wondering if something is going to happen, so I did watch it all the way through. Nothing does. The performances by the 'Jack' and 'Liz' actors aren't horrible, but I'll be surprised if anyone in this film can make a living as an actor. As for the ending - it probably deserves a lower score than the movie overall.

Up on the Glass was an Official Selection of the 2020 Buffalo International Film Festival as well as the 2020 Capital City Film Festival in Lansing, Michigan. The 2020 Capital City Film Festival was postponed due to COVID-19.
