I created an IMDB account to tell you how great this movie is

Get some friends over. Get some cake. Get baked. Watch Paradox Lost.

My new fave. The kinda movie that you wanna tell everyone you know to watch. Love it.

The world is a little better because this movie exists.

It's fairly good, but it's absolutely not a comedy

I can't imagine who put the "comedy" label on this: there are a few amusing touches, but overall it's a drama with sci-fi roots.

The characters are well-acted - especially the three leads (also the improv leader and others).

The Barnaby character (played by Danny Cymbal) is irritating but that's exactly right for the story.

Similarly, I was initially underwhelmed by the Copper character but gradually realized he was played quite well (by Dennis Curlett).

Rose is a more sympathetic character and thus easier to appreciate, but there is some great subtlety in how Clarissa Thibeaux portrays her.

Oh, and the story, while not mind bending, is above average for time travel flicks, and doesn't get mired in mechanics or explanations.

And - as someone who gets irritated by background music fairly easily - I want to add that here it qas perfectly tuned to the film, such that I rarely even noticed it (this is meant as a high compliment).

    Funny

A time travel movie obsessed with improv. Reminded me of when I was deep into the Austin improv scene in my 20s. Very dreamlike.

    DIFFERENT... that's a compliment

I wish more movies felt this way. Trippy and fun. Started off thinking it was one kind of movie and then it just turns. Definitely indie but also made me laugh. The kind of movie that makes you wanna make movies. Recommend!

    Fantastic, quirky fun

I'm always a sucker for a good time travel movie, and this one does not disappoint, as long as you don't try to apply any kind of strict time travel rules on a movie that mostly wants to have fun AND explore the relationships between the characters. It is a really fun ride, true low budget gold, and I'm glad there wasn't 25 million dollars worth of CGI to mess it up and take the focus off of the story of the people. (I often find that low budget movies can be the most rewarding as long as you don't mind missing out on that CGI or 2 dozen exotic locales). The few brief scenes of improv sketch comedy kinda fall flat, but that's OK. The ending of the movie is just fantastic and I totally-- well, no, I'm just gonna leave that right there.

      [first lines]

Barnaby: I didn't expect to see you tonight.

Rose: Same. Um, Donna asked if I would take some photos of the improv show.

      [chuckles]

Rose: I'm not stalking you or anything... Did you play?

      Barnaby: Yeah. Yeah, I played.

Rose: It's not as bad as you think. It's not.

      Barnaby: You didn't see it.

Rose: You're too hard on yourself.
