Keluarga Cemara

I cried a lot when i was watching this movie. One of the best Indonesian movies so far !

I believe this is the kind of movie that will be remembered by some people (me at least) for months or even years, only because of its simplicity. The best thing about this movie, for me, is how they redefine what a family is, and how a family should be, through all the very strong conflicts. This movie will touch your soul and make you grateful for having family that is always be there when you need them. Best to watch this with your loved ones, because you may be having the same feeling and be crying together, and hopefully, make your family even warmer then ever.

As far as I know, Keluarga Cemara is adopted from sitcom/series/telenovela/anything whatsoever. And for disclaimer, I haven't watched those series.

For me, the conflict is not that solid. The conflict was actually found on daily basis, but exaggerated on this movie. The life lessons were good though, since we can applied it on daily life.

I don't remember the long soap drama in telly, but after watching this film, I come to a realization that digital economy is there and move a step closer to everyone dream. Duo Ringgo Agus and Nirina Zubir is known for comical role they succeed portraying Abah and Emak. I find difficulty to understand why they pick Zara JKT48 as Euis and she's too introvert as Euis that I ever remember. Ara (Widuri) is a show stealer with her openness and happiness. Euis new friends are surely a friend in life you'd be looking for, not that Jakartan friends of her (most of them are JKT48, so yeah)... Reminiscing the soundtrack of that telly, the most treasure thing you'll ever had is family.

From when I was a child, Keluarga Cemara is a role model for an ideal good family. I'm so excited when they finally made a movie about it! Even tho the story is simple and quite predictable, but the way they bring it surely can warm our heart. How a family can survived through the storm completed with cute scenes and jokes are def a good package to watch with your kids. The actors are playing their parts perfectly but my fav is "Ara's" acting cause she's so natural! Like the lyrics from the famous soundtrack: "Harta yang paling berharga adalah keluarga...." ,this movie will make you miss and loving your family even more. Recommended!!! Go watch it guys!!!
