This show had a rough start but got better for a short time. Now it feels worse than at the beginning. It's more about the sets, graphics, and personalities, than it is about sports news and insight. Occasionally a guest will come on with some real insight and there are times it feels worthy of my time. More times than not it's like Maury Povich but sports related. These sports personalities are spouting their opinions more for the entertainment value than actual reporting or insight. For some reason they feel that the more sports entertainment personalities they put on screen at the same time the better it is... It's not.
This isn't the worst sports show - this might be one of the worst shows on TV. What a sad turn after Mike & Mike.
FYI: Greenberg chose to leave Mike & Mike - I don't know why user comments are saying ESPN dropped his show. Golic wanted to continue - that was why there was a rift and why Golic is trying to do the same concept with Trey Wingo, who sadly is incredibly annoying.
Greenberg wanted a big studio, to make a splash to move to TV - that's why they built out this monstrosity, with the 3 hosts being paid $15M a year to pull in ratings that aren't even half of First Take.
The content is derivative, the hosts aren't endearing, the analysis isn't insightful - we're supposed to spend 3 hours watching these 3 vie for camera attention?
ESPN should promote actually creative shows like LeBatard/HQ or Pardon My Take, keep staples like PTI etc., and then have JUST highlights. Otherwise it's just trying the same formula over-and-over again of trying to take a sports anchor/radio host and trying to convince us they're entertainers.
Your employees are not Charles Barkley - the majority of them need to stick to reading a teleprompter.

Destroying Mike & Mike in order to create this dreadful mess was a mistake of epic proportions. The best way to salvage Get Up! is to bring Golic in recreate it as Mike & Mike 2. That would have the added advantage of rescuing viewers from tremendously annoying Trey Wingo.
I was a a huge Mike and Mike fan. A four hour a day listener as I work from home and it was always on. I have now tried to watch Get Up 4 times and I have never lasted more than 20 minutes. I can't stand Beadle and Mike seems like he is not himself and is drowning. Jalen is likable but just not as personable, insightful and relatable as Golic. I am not a troll and I wanted to like the show. It is HORRIBLE and needs to END asap. I have no idea what kind of testing, analysis etc went into putting this show together but ALL of those people should find other jobs.
