They would turn in there grave

From the first scene you can see they made a terrible choice in casting the krays and and Frank the clothing the whole thing in whole and sad to think if this is the only reg Travis film any one has scene as he is actually not a bad actor whole thing was a shambles

    Don't.. Just don't watch this.

I didn't even bother watching it in full but I watched at least 30 minutes of it and thought, "yeaaaaah nah thanks"... Legend is 100x better than this and it got a medium to low-score (55 out of 100). This I'd say is like a 1 out of 100 and that's me being generous. Soooo BAD.....Just stop.

Who did the casting for this!!!

One twin looks like a chubby Stephen merchant.the other looks like a small Italian man with no lips!

    "Straight-to-DVD" for a reason

This is obviously a "Someone made a film about the Krays last year: we should get in on that audience before they get bored with it" type of effort. How fortunate that movies aren't shot on celluloid anymore, for this would have been a criminal waste of material. I only watched it because I was intrigued to see if Leslie Grantham (remember him?) could play a police officer even as well as a piece of driftwood could. Sadly, I was disappointed, much to the shame of Mr Grantham who I believe didn't even live to see it released! If only they had at least bothered to cast a pair of twins as a pair of twins, it might have helped, instead of us having to watch two "hoodahells" constantly having to refer to each other by character names so that we could tell who they were meant to be.

    Dire.

I am not sure which is worse: the casting, the acting or the dialogue. Being historically incorrect seems inconsequential given that none of it is believably acted even if it were a true representation of the facts. An appalling and badly made film. A total waste of time.

Like the title characters Reggie and Ronnie Kray, Leslie Grantham (Nipper Read) was a convicted murderer. He murdered the West German taxi driver Felix Reese in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony on December 3, 1966. He was convicted of murder in 1967 and sentenced to life imprisonment but only served ten years.
    • Goofs
Albert Donoghue was in reality far younger than as portrayed here. He was aged 31 during the events of the film whilst Christopher Ellison was aged 72 at the time of the films release in 2018.
