    This needs a sequel!

I love the Kirby franchise more than I love the Super Mario franchise. This isn't just any other Kirby game, this brings back multiple memories of our childhood bringing back all of Kirby's past enemies and friends joining forces with him to fight a greater evil. This game definitely deserves a sequel as I would love to see a whole new adventure take place and all of Kirby's allies joining forces once more. This may not be the newest game on the Nintendo Switch, but this is definitely a game that you should get. The way I see it, all these people from previous Kirby games joining in hands in a newer game, brings back nostalgia and the fun parts of our childhood.

A solid game if your a first timer to the series

Not a masterpiece, but it is a pretty good game. The dream friends and copy abilities were fun to mess around with. The mini-games (Chop champs and starlight heroes) are nice time wasters and are good games to play when I'm bored. However, the game has MANY flaws. First of all, there are puzzles (mainly in the story mode) their not great, the puzzles require no thought whatsoever and the game literally tells you what to do, so they're not even puzzles. Second of all is the CPU friends. They will either solve puzzles for you or kill enemies or bosses without your help, because of this, it feels like the game is playing itself except for a few instances, And third of all, the bosses (In story mode), while not bad are very easy. They are literally just walk up to the boss and spam B until they're dead. However, star allies does make up for these problems in many ways. First off is the music, while not hollow knight levels of good, is still great. There was not a single track I disliked and that is saying something because there are over 100 of these tracks, and I love them all. The copy abilities and dream friends are also fun to mess around with, just experimenting with different copy abilities to see what moves they do was always fun. Guest star is a decent mode, it's basically a mode where you can play as one of the enemies in the game. If you ask me, I think the none dream friends got the short end of the stick in guest star, their runs barely utilize their abilities, so it just is the main game with no copy abilities and a new final boss. But when you are playing as the dream friends in guest star, the mode is pretty fun. Next up is the ultimate choice, it's just a boss rush mode. Not much to say about it, it is my 2nd favorite mode in the game tho because even though the bosses (except for soul melter) are easy, it is a lot more fun because of how fast-paced it is. And finally, there is heroes in another dimension, easily my favorite mode in the WHOLE GAME, the game is a lot harder than the story mode and the puzzles are actual puzzles! It is so much fun collecting the friend hearts because the puzzles are interesting, unlike the story mode. I had a lot of fun in this mode and I wish there was more. Overall star allies is a good game, it has many flaws however IMO it does enough to make up for those flaws.

Kirby star allies gets a score of 8 out of 10. If your looking for a good Kirby game to start with, this game is for yo.
