Liquid Sky Revisited (2017)

This fifty-minute documentary has director Slava Tsukerman looking back at his 1982 film LIQUID SKY. We get interviews with Tsukerman as well as people like cinematographer Yuri Neyman, production assistant Jeff Most as well as Anne Carlisle, Nina Karova and Neke Carson among others. If you're a fan of LIQUID SKY then you'll enjoy this for the most part as everyone interviewed gives you a very good idea what it was like making the picture. There was a lot of rehearsals done for the film and we get footage of a lot of them and that was certainly a treat to see. This really doesn't play out like your typical documentary but then again LIQUID SKY wasn't your typical movie either. For the most part this was quite entertaining and it was interesting to see how the film came to be.
