This movie gave a different perspective on the Challenger disaster. Was very interesting. So sad that the voices of these engineers was not heard to avoid the inevitable explosion.
The movie is family friendly without any offensive dialogue or scenes. I wish I had done a little more research before watching, so some questions I had would be answered.
Was a low budget film, but done very well-music, scenery and actors very authentic. So glad I watched.
This movie should have been better... NO. it needed to be better!! people needed to know this story. but will not at all because of poor job done
There are very few films which have real facts and are based on a real story, this one is... I can't remember when was the first time I heard about "Challenger" disaster in real life, but I am pretty sure it was quite long ago and I am pretty sure that it was never before mentioned in a documentary film, that there was a group of engineers that tried to prevent that launch... Despite the low budget if you enjoy films in any way related to Space Program you'll like this one as much...This film reminds me another one called "Too Big To fail" which tells the story of 2008 financial crash... Overall the main idea behind the film is to show how the whole system of capitalism and bureaucracy works... Instead of doing things even at the highest level properly everything is rushed and the only deciding factor is always money, while every good deed is not left unpunished...
With strong acting and direction, this film manages to make talk riveting, à la "The China Syndrome". It's hard to make a movie about an event where everyone knows the outcome, but watching this film I really felt like I was getting a look behind the curtain, as we spend the night before the tragic launch with five of the engineers. It's engrossing, at times harrowing, and ultimately heartbreaking.
Really enjoyed this movie-a solid production. I remember that day vividly. Now I have perspective on what the engineers who tried to stop the launch went through. The cast did a great job.

- TriviaAs indicated in the film, at least one astronaut survived the initial explosion. While the film depicts astronaut / teacher Christa McAuliffe during the disaster and shows a hand flipping a switch, it is known that astronaut Michael J. Smith's emergency equipment switch was activated by either Ellison Onizuka or Judith Resnick, who were both seated within reach of the switch, which was on the back of Smith's chair..
- GoofsAt 15:30 the Mac on the engineer's desk is displaying a floppy icon, indicating that the machine is not booted up.
