From Russia to Iran: Crossing the Wild Frontier

I really liked the way levison wood narrated his entire journey through Caucasus. It's very interesting and much more entertaining than adventure movies which are being produce these days.

Even the travel buddy he picks up at each new stop are interesting. My favourite one would be the beard guy he picked up in Russia. He was very well spoken and had good humor. I forgot his name.

He also shared the map continuously while traveling so enthusiastic audience like me will have idea about the places he is visiting on map. So yeah, after seeing this season I am planning to watch other documentaries from levison wood in this travel series. 10/10 stars from me.

Levison walks less trodden places from southern Russia to Iran thro' Caucus. We can witness uur planet is lovely and awesome in this documentary.

Levison Wood is a genial, curious and courageous British host of this amazing journey across less travelled Central Asia and the Caucasus. He makes the point that the people are friendly, and he is willing to explore local customs and buildings, and even looks into the effects of the Chechnyan war. The trouble is that most of his little segments have no women in them. This is a bad fault. To me it was a glaring omission. I guess there may have been cultural reasons, but couldn't there have been a female co-host, then? As it is, we only find out all about what men are doing. Maybe the women were at home, cooking.
