Great locations, interesting supporting actors, leads are less interesting, storyline engaging but not facinating, great detail on the sets, dialogue is ordinary,
I love movies like Indiana Jones, National Treasure, Lara Croft, The Librarian, Davinci Code etc. I find the idea of a tv show that includes art, archaelogy etc appealing. But this show doesnt know what it wants to be. Too many ideas crammed together and the constant flipping back & forth to flashbacks is horrible. They've tried to show the female thief as some independant empowered woman but she comes off as arrogant with unreal physical skills. The show could learn something from "White Collar" where the thief was so charismatic & the ensemble cast had great chemistry.
UPDATE: 7/14/19 I went back & watched more after the pilot episodes. The frequent flashbacks are not chronological & can be confusing at times. Like reading a Dan Brown novel, scenes alternate frequently from our two main characters activities to the other government agencies/terrorists. But Im a sucker for mystery & overall the show gets better & deserves a 2nd chance. After the 2 part pilot it finds its flow & I grew to like it. A simple action/adventure series thats fun to watch without having to think so hard or be subjected to graphic scenes. I look forward to Season 2.

Really fun, high production values, treasure, bad guys, good looking leads, real historic locations, and John Larroquette! What more do you need in a summer series. Really enjoyable.
I just finished watching the first 2 hours and i have to say i don't understand all the hate. True this is no Indiana Jones but it was moderately interesting if perhaps somewhat implausible. This IS TV not blockbuster movie stuff. People need to get over themselves and not be so hyper-critical. TV is spos'd to be entertainment so relax and let yourself be entertained.
This is the show Whiskey Cavalier could have been. The main characters have great chemistry. The guy is a boy scout, but not too much of one. Unlike Will he's not sappy. Both characters get prolonged, well choreographed fight scenes each episode. The villains are very Raiders of The lost Ark like. The story flows and makes sense.
Sure it's unbelievable(The pyramid has a big chunk out of it), you definitely get the feeling there are big surprises coming. If you just want to be entertained, THIS IS THE SHOW!
