Good movie, even if some people seem to think it's poorly acted. Appears to be a lot of possible child abusers trying to slam the movie here. Trolls are everywhere
Great film! This was cutting edge for a topic that few would dare tackle. Great acting and directing. Well worth the time to watch. My favorite part was the end. I'm sure that those involved in such horrific crimes against children (ie: trafficking etc.) will NOT be pleased with this film. Hope to see a sequel!
One of those movies that keep you thinking long after the credits role. I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone so all I will say is that if you enjoy thrillers, you'll enjoy A Child's Voice. I loved the ending, but it's left questions in my mind, so I am hoping they make a sequel.
The team who put this independent film together did an excellent job in letting the public know these things actually happen right under our noses without being too graphic. It was done in a very tasteful and informative way. The story line draws in people to a child and gives them an emotional attachment, and ends in a great positive way. I would recommend anyone watch this film and think about what is going on that we are not being made aware of by the mainstream media.
I wanted to like this film because of the message. I get low budget films arent supposed to be great. That being said, I could've written a better script in an hour. The acting was not bad, but I spent the entire movie confused. Very hard to follow how characters were related within the plot and the back story was barely explained. The script definitely missed some points that would have kept the viewer up to speed on whats going on, especially with the back story. Scenes started and ended leaving me with no solid grasp of understanding the plot. In low budget films, I can get past bad edit shots, bad effects etc, but i cant get past not understanding the plot. While I commend everyone who worked on this film, as it is an important message, the script was not thought out well at all. I'm shocked no one involved in the process didnt catch this.
