Sorry to all the whiners complaining that not all Irish are drunks, we're not violent, blah, blah. Get over yourself and watch the film for what it is, a low budget, great story, that thankfully was created. Ignore the crybaby bad reviews that are about stuff OTHER than the movie.
I found it hilarious through most, a little upsetting at one point, and surprised at the end. I often have trouble finding all that in big budget films with big budget actors.
A movie truly worth watching.

Twenty minutes into this I was a little confused with where it was going, but holy smokes it gets insane!!! The production value is low, it must have been a low budget movie, but the story is really original and Ruby is worth the $5 alone. The opening credits with Timmy Thomas eating an orange is so weird!!
In a world full of recycled superhero movies what a breath of fresh I found last night. This Indie is unlike anything I have seen in the last twenty years. It is fresh, thought provoking and hilarious.
That said a lot of people that are more into the Avengers and cheesy Rom Com's will probably hate it. Two different people suggested this film to me and I'm excited that this "dark horse" is getting discovered. It has cult classic written all over it. The scene with Stevie selling Owen craic outside a church stole the show for me. WATCH THIS MOVIE!
I originally had set my rating at 8/10, but after looking it up online and learning that they shot this movie in NINE days I had to change it.
Firstly I randomly found this on Prime last night and since my parents were Irish decided to watch it. I was blown away from start to finish and was bent over laughing through out. Timmy Thomas played by an actor I remembered seeing on Boardwalk Empire is one of my favorite characters ever!! Holy smokes that guy has an unique look. The two male leads and the girl (Ruby) are all incredible too.
That said it is a low budget Indie. If you are looking for the Fast and the Furious this isn't for you. There is also a lot of profanity and drug use and terrible decisions are made. This movie is not for everyone, and people that like slapstick comedies will hate it. But if you're looking for a new cult classic this movie blows Boondock Saints out of the water, and unlike BS all the Irish people in this movie are FROM IRELAND.
