    More a 7.5 than a 7

This film's weak point is the seemingly predictable slow place. A presumptuous viewer, like myself, would draw conclusions and either walk-out or doze off. The script, for the most part, simply lacks engagement. Luckily I sat it through. What'll seem to be a stupid plot will prove otherwise if you can summon the patience until about the last 10 minutes. Despite a very good performance, Choi Ming-sik still needs to find a script with a Korean director (or otherwise) who can tap into his reserves, of the likes of past reminiscent performances, which we saw in Old Boy, I saw the Devil, Failan, etc. I still remain a HUGE fan though!

    Too improbable

Slow and hard to follow at first with dim lighting throughout. Then there is a ridiculous twist near the end. It's just way too improbable to recreate fake footage and take the blame for his daughter but it is fascinating to watch them do it. Park Shin Hye fans will be disappointed as her part is not that big. Did not feel that the fatherly love thing that moving.

    Not worth watching.

    A Korean Gem

Absolute fan of korean movies and this one goes into my favourite lists. A moving tale of love, hate, tragedy with a dash of mystery. I won't divulge anything.

Choi min sik just can't take eyes of him, continues to amaze after so many years.

    Loved it..

    Pretty decent movie, but

    Spoilers:

Pretty decent movie, good acting and ok story. Some glitches that doesnt make sense though, like recreating the crime scene is highly improbable, which would take something like a year, rather than doing in a short period like within days, just imagine all the materials and finishes it requires, all the textures and vehicles being same, its next to impossible. It could be slightly easier to recompose the video using a hollywood class effects team overlaying the original, but would still take very long. And if its all fabricated it would also make more sense that he uses someone rather than himself to pretend the killing so he wont get prosecuted, but i believe this is intentionally done to increase drama. Also the woman playing his gf at end having a emotional scene doesnt make sense.
