    Family values

This movie is really good, to start. It centers around how siblings get along, which truly spoke to me. I felt like the writing and acting managed a sense of realism without hitting you over the head with each brother's message.

What's cool is that the characters themselves are flawed, no one is right and nobody is wrong, this is a trope you just don't see in movies anymore and it was refreshing.

The use of music really got to me as well. It seemed like for the first half hour or so there was none, giving a sense of isolation to how they are feeling, in a way. When the music does come in, it balances between a score of mood and classical for comedy value.

I'd recommend this movie to anyone who wants to laugh, feel something, and connect with a story.

    Phenomenal Film!

This incredible film is thoughtful, powerful and hilarious all at the same time. These characters and their relationships are so believable and so universal. I both laughed out loud and cried multiple times during the course of this movie. I highly recommend buckling up and going on this amazing emotional journey-either solo or with family. It presents siblings and loss and grappling with faith in a beautifully poignant and realistic way, while using humor to great effect. I would watch this again in a heartbeat. I am now recommending it to my extended family and all of my friends. The acting is brilliant, as is the writing and direction!

Forced myself to watch to the end.

Interesting subject. Over the top acting, especially the ex-wife/ addict. Typical of an American film, every thought and action is almost dialogued. I cannot imagine brothers talking like these characters. I listened to the film like a podcast at times. The thick proselytizing of God, first half (and the end), and the proselytizing of what a good father is, second half, is hard to take. Then an over dramatic sound track is introduced in the second half. What's with the Star Wars theme, I guess someone thought it was a good idea, stupid. The film sort of got better on the last third. The film quality does not appear very low budget, the script / acting is just bad. I just could not empathise for either character.

    Great film

I watch a lot of indie movies, and usually there are a lot of issues with how the production looks, but Falling Sons really seemed like a high quality film. The shots were really cool, especially one where the main guy falls to the bed and wakes up outside a shot later, just connected really well and couldn't have been easy to accomplish.

The way the actors interacted as brothers makes me think they're really brothers in real life, not acting at all. And they were really different from one another, not just repeat performances. The movie is almost two hours long, but the pacing makes it seem a lot shorter. I never felt like there was a dragging part or a scene that didn't belong, each built the story up and I felt like the ending was just perfect, won't spoil it here, though.

Give this indie a chance, you won't regret it. I think it's still on Tubi, but you can get commercial free on Amazon. It's not a perfect film by any means, but again I'm sure this was super low budge, and it was impressive to see what they could do on that. Ten stars for sure.
