Trolls: The Beat Goes On, a show I used to really like for the upbeat colors and awesome songs. I binged this entire show in around 3 days, and it's not as good as I remember.
The episodes: Most of the episodes range from being a 3-4/10. Most of the episodes have very generic plots, other times they're frustrating to get through because of either something like a character ruining it or some bad jokes. But, whenever this show does something unique with its' episodes, they end up being really good.
For example, my favorite episode is Bringing Up Birdy. This is what all episodes of this show should be like; it is very different from others. The plot is different (kinda meh though) and can be funny when it wants. The main reason why I like it is because of the heart. This episode takes itself seriously the entire time and doesn't change the tone with a bunch of wacky, unneeded gags. It's just telling a good story and is there to convey what it wants.
Most of my least favorites have one major issue: the characters. Cloud Guy is my least favorite, and he is the problem with a lot of the worst episodes from this show (Two's a Cloud, Cloudy With a Chance of Hugs, etc). He is really annoying and can ruin an episode by being in it for just a few seconds (ex: ending of Bye Bye Bunker). The rest of the characters can range from cute to eh. My favorites are Cooper, CJ, Smidge, and Branch.
It might just be my nostalgia talking, but this show's songs are really good. My favorite are Shine Your Light (credits song of seasons 5-8 played in Dark Side of the Lagoon) and Best Day Ever (played in Royal Review). I like upbeat music, he lyrics are cheesy, but the instrumentals are really nice.
It's good for younger kids, but I personally don't know if watching this show's follow up (TrollsTopia) is worth it.

This show is hilarious!!!! My 7 and 4 year old love it, and I do too. It's one of the few shows we can all watch and enjoy together - it has humor that appeals to both kids and adults. The writing and stories are much more thoughtful and creative than a typical 'kids' show (Paw Patrol, PJ Masks, etc.) Can't understand reviews that say it's just for kids to enjoy. Give it a chance!i
Not gonna say much only that my 3yo loves it, especially the music in the beginning- she insists on dancing to it no matter what.
Is a fun cartoon, that's it. Guess you can't please everyone, but theres absolutely nothing bad about this show; some jokes only adults will laugh at as well
Never write reviews but saw that someone gave this show a 1 out of 10 and tore it apart like it was a serious Oscar winning movie which is just abused. Just take it for what it is, a kids show and it is absolutely hilarious!! Pretty sure my wife and I enjoy it more than our little girl.
If your kids liked the Trolls movie, or if they're into music and dance, this is the perfect show for them! My daughter and her cousins are totally in love with it. They're in the 2-6 year old age range, so it's important to me that nothing on the show is scary or offensive at all, and it helps that every episode has a new musical number for them to get into. The kids jump up to dance along all the time instead of just being couch potatoes, which is also nice.

- Crazy creditsThe DreamWorks logo is formed by Poppy sitting on Cloud Guy in the sky: she makes the crescent moon with her hair, and then sits on it. She then pulls up the DreamWorks Animation logo up, with Guy Diamond standing on it, who puts glitter on the logo.
