'The Moonlight Man 2 (2017)' is just a bit middling, to be honest. It doesn't build all that much tension, plus it lacks atmosphere and is pretty poorly paced. Its ending also lacks any oomph. It's visually quite appealing and, in general, is constructed competently. It's just a bit bland overall, though. It's fine, I guess. 4/10.
...or version. or episode for a serie who could be interesting. because it is an impecable use of horror rules , a lovely care about details and a reasonable portrait of fear. so, the pretty young woman from the first part is remplaced by a massive man with not the most noble pourpoise. a woman is only a short appearences. and the Monnlight Man seems be more descreet. and...polite. so, explanation about a project who is more than a decent horror short film.
I was excited when this sequel came out because I liked the first short film featuring the Moonlight Man. This one did not capture the same spooky atmosphere of the first that I enjoyed. It doesn't have the peril or thrills that it needs to keep my interest. It relies on the irony of the man's situation to make an interesting story. It didn't for me.
I did not think the garage setting was very effective at creating a scary atmosphere. The acting by the lead character was very good though.
