    Questions, Questions

In this Encyclopedia Britannica education film, we learn many facts about light. We learnlearn how it behaves under certain circumstances, like going through a lens or prism. We learn that sometimes, curiously, it behave like a particle, and sometimes like a wave. And we are left with more questions than when we started with "What is light?"

And that's a good thing. Every question in science seeks an answer, and every answer prompts a new one. Of course, science does not answer questions like "why?" That is a question for other branches of philosophy. But the essence of science is curiosity, and that is a thirst never to be quenched.
