Get Karl! Oh Soo-jung

I checked out this series because one of the writers of this show also wrote Crash Landing On You. Expect lots of unexpected humor and cleverly crafted scenes. Uhm Jung Hwa the fantastic actress is the star and she has comic talent and gets sympathy for the seemingly materialistic character as you understand her need to provide for her family. She always makes fun of her self and that is endearing. Considering it's a 2007 series the story isn't dated. It's quite a well constructed and plausible.story starting from leaving at the altar, to a con job revenge test to the nicely done romantic ending The characters are all well drawn including an effectively double faced villainess and a mother with dementia who provides unexpected comic relief. As the lead actor golfer Oh Ji Ho looks the part and acts quite well. The fat suit flashbacks are funny. Worth watching.
