My advice is to anyone wanting to watch this is if you don't like films where there is very little dialogue and things that remain unexplained and left to the imagination then maybe skip this one. However the concept and execution of what this is trying to be was well done. Not sure why one of the other reviewers had to have a pop at the director / dad of the star of this as it doesn't really describe the film to the rest of us in any way. But If you like "film" and have patience and enjoy a little bit of horror and suspense thrown in there, you'll enjoy it.
Quite a piece of filmmaking by the director and solo actor. I found the story very interesting as a whole. Although it may only have 1 page of dialogue through out the whole film, I think the director is trying to put the viewer through the same loneliness and despair as the character. If the protagonist had narrated or spoke more it might disturb the sombre direction of the film.
The plot is very light. It's basically about a guy trapped on a boat... Not much else to say, besides the subtle instances where he might not be alone... I'll leave it at that.
Overall this isn't a great film or a film I'll give a 2nd viewing but it was intriguing and kept me glued till the very end. The film longs for some better editing though. Anyone who says it's terrible really doesn't understand the message or slow burn journey the filmmakers are taking them on.
Overall it's worth the watch if you're into something a little less mainstream.

I decided to watch this film on a whim to learn a little bit more about boats. I was planning on sailing with my wife for our honeymoon this summer and wanted to see how boating is. Well not anymore! After watching this terrifying film about a man and this evil boat I don't think I will step foot on a boat ever again. My wife has now left me once she learned I canceled our sailing honeymoon. I just can't do it now. The thought of being on a boat in the middle of the ocean and having these horrible evil things happen is too much for me to bare. This is a great film but please avoid if you are planning any honeymoon sailing trips in the future.
Slow paced, but couldn't take my eyes off his struggles. Claustrophobic. The gaze up through the water, heart beat... Is he drowning? Is the boat ferrying him to hell or being resuscitated back to life, punishing him?
Seriously. How many rooms are you going to keep walking into before you start disabling the door locks first. Well produced but ultimately frustrating.

- TriviaThe boat that the man is trapped on is a 1991 Beneteau First 45F5.
- GoofsOriginal: [Dolphins do not swim at night.]
The dolphins were disturbed by the boat, so they wouldn't have been asleep at that moment.
- Crazy creditsNo boats were harmed in the making of this film. The boat was shot using 2 identical 1991 Beneteau First 45F5 'Gee Wiz' & 'Dimm'. The boats still proudly sail the Mediterranean.
