Predator: Killer of Killers arrives today and promises a new kind of Predator story, one that steps away from the usual setup and dives into the past.
Instead of following a single timeline, this movie takes a different route. Killer of Killers will unfold through three separate stories, each set in a completely different period in history. That means three different warriors, three different battles, and three unique encounters with the deadly Yautja hunters.
It’s not one big plot but rather an anthology showing how humans across time have clashed with the galaxy’s most fearsome predator.
The movie was developed in secrecy, so hardly anyone knew about it until the first marketing materials started dropping. Now, first reactions to the movie are in, and they are amazing to say the least.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. A young priest who’s recently suffered a personal tragedy and is struggling with issues of faith teams up with an older, veteran priest to perform an exorcism on a young girl who’s been exhibiting disturbing signs of demonic possession. The younger priest is skeptical, believing that her manifestations could be the result of psychological disturbance. The older priest is resolute, determined to once more do battle with the Devil.
No, I mean it, stop me.
Because clearly no one has stopped The Ritual, yet another attempt that tries and fails to exorcise our memories of the classic, gold standard of the genre, William Friedkin’s 1973 The Exorcist. As if to compensate for the fact that their film is trafficking in the same sort of hokiness as such recent, similarly themed efforts as The Pope’s Exorcist and The Exorcism (both starring Russell Crowe,...

Players eagerly waiting for Borderlands 4’s release later this year don’t need to wait without anything to play, as an underrated Borderlands spin-off game is free, but for a limited time. The next installment in the looter-shooter franchise is set to arrive for PC and consoles in September, bringing forth brand-new gameplay opportunities with modded weapons, flashy abilities, and the staple toxic humor for which the series is known. The game is still a few months away, so players will still have to wait a few months before controlling Borderlands 4’s new Vault Hunters.
However, it is possible to spend time immersed in the franchise with a spin-off game that is currently free. Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, released in 2022, is now free for PC via Epic Games Store, though the game can only be claimed until June 5. Nicole Kidman's returning mystery thriller show on Hulu, Nine Perfect Strangers, has debuted to a disappointing critics score on Rotten Tomatoes after a divisive first season. Based on the 2018 book by Liane Moriarty, season 1 focuses on the exploits of guests at the health and wellness resort Tranquillum House in California, where they uncover mysteries about themselves and the center's founder, Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman). While season 1 is based on the book, Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 sees the show take an anthology approach as new guests arrive at Tranquillum House, where new mysteries are set to unfold.
However, according to Rotten Tomatoes, critics have mixed thoughts on the new series. As of writing, Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 holds a 45% critics score on the site, based on 11 reviews. This is lower than season 1, which already holds a 59% critics score and 59% audience score. While the newest season has received mixed reception, it seems...

Over 40 years after its release, "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" remains one of the funniest stoner comedies ever made. Helmed by first-time director Amy Heckering (over a decade before she would direct "Clueless") from a screenplay by then-newcomer Cameron Crowe (before his work on "Almost Famous" and "Jerry Maguire"), the 1982 film followed a group of slacker kids as they navigate the socially volatile waters of sophomore year at Ridgemont High School.
"Fast Times" famously boasts an ensemble cast that includes several actors who would go on to become massive stars, some in tiny roles you may not remember. We took a look back at the "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" cast to see where their careers took them after they graduated from sneaky hooks up and joints to Academy Award-winning roles in major feature films.

Amanda Seyfried has tackled plenty of different roles: a Golden Age of Hollywood starlet, the perpetrator of Silicon Valley’s greatest known scam, an adult film icon, a dim high schooler with an uncanny knack for predicting the weather. But she’s never played a cop, as much as she’s wanted to.
“No one looks at me and thinks ‘cop,’” Seyfried said during a recent THR Frontrunners panel. “And then someone did.”
The Emmy winner and Oscar nominee plays a Philadelphia police officer in Peacock’s Long Bright River, an adaptation of Liz Moore’s best-selling novel of the same name. Al Pacino and Dan Stevens have differing methods of spreading their faith in the trailer for The Ritual.
Director David Midell’s feature is set to hit theaters June 6 from XYZ Films. Ashley Greene, Patricia Heaton, Abigail Cowen and Ritchie Montgomery round out the cast.
The Ritual focuses on Father Theophilus Riesinger (Pacino) and Father Joseph Steiger (Stevens) as they aim to assist a young woman who appears to be possessed by demons.
“We are the Lord’s army in this battle,” Pacino says in the trailer. “She is touched by something otherworldly.”
Later, Stevens asks, “What if what she really needs is a doctor?” This leads Pacino to respond, “We are paying a price for your lack of faith.”
The Ritual is inspired by the 1935 book Begone Satan!, which has been at the center of faith-based debate for nearly a century. Midell helmed the movie from a script he co-wrote with Enrico Natale.

Jordan Peele’s love for the strange and the supernatural has always been loud and clear, and with The Twilight Zone reboot, he got to play host to a modern version of the legendary 1959 series he grew up admiring. Much like Rod Serling did back in the day, Peele used the format to peel back the layers of society’s darkest corners, mixing horror with moral dilemmas and mind games. Though the revival didn’t stick around as long as fans might have hoped, it packed a punch in its short run and offered a platform for some solid talent.
The anthology came and went, but the faces from the series have moved on to pretty interesting chapters in 2025. From high-stakes dramas to animated franchises, here’s what the key cast members are busy with now.

It’s a family reunion!
Frankie Muniz posted a behind-the-scenes photo while filming Disney+’s “Malcolm in the Middle” revival, reuniting with his on-screen parents Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek.
All three actors reprise their respective roles as Malcolm, Hal and Lois in the modern spin on the beloved sitcom. Per the logline of the four-episode revival, “Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.”
Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield are also reprising their respective roles of Francis and Reese in the new series. However, Erik Per Sullivan is not returning as Dewey. Instead, “Fargo” and “The Expanse” actor Caleb Ellsworth-Clark will take over the role. (Sullivan largely gave up acting after “Malcolm in the Middle” ended in 2006. I'm one of many devastated by the news that Star Wars: Hunters is officially shutting down this October. Though I'm not much of a gamer, this one has kept me entertained and fueled my desperate escapism since its June 2024 release. I don't want to see it go, but I also know how these things work. Sometimes, endings are inevitable, no matter how devastating.
There is one final content update scheduled for April 15, and while there are plenty of worthwhile elements coming along with that, there's really only one pressing matter I hope the developers address: The state of Sprocket's Mastery (Part II).
When his kit got a major overhaul at the beginning of last season, the change unintentionally made one of the objectives in his second mastery impossible to complete. In Part 5, users must use his Targeting Drone ability 100 times. But his targeting drones no longer exist due to the kit changes.

On paper, Star Wars: The Clone Wars could've been a flash in the pan, but it ultimately blossomed into one of the most compelling long-form Star Wars stories in any medium. The series, overcoming a rocky cinematic debut, had an underrated run on Cartoon Network, a season on Netflix and a final season on Disney+.
From its beginning to its triumphant end, the creative team behind The Clone Wars was unwavering about the thematic and narrative integrity of the story they needed to tell. As a result, its legacy cemented itself as one of the defining pieces of continuity and a vital aspect of the central ideas behind the Prequel Era.

More familiar faces are confirmed to be returning for the Malcolm in the Middle revival on Disney+. However, one popular character from the original show has been recast with a new actor taking on the role.
Per Variety, the role of Dewey has been recast for the new Malcolm in the Middle revival series. In the original show, the fan favorite character, who started out as the youngest sibling, was played by child actor Erik Per Sullivan. After the series ended, Sullivan quietly retired from acting and has since been enjoying his life out of the spotlight. This made it doubtful that he would be returning for the Malcolm in the Middle revival, though it was still unclear if the character would be recast or if there'd be a storyline reason given to explain his absence.

Nicholas Hoult has signed on to star in the untitled bank heist thriller that David Leitch is directing for Amazon MGM Studios and Imagine Entertainment.
Leitch will also produce with wife and producing partner Kelly McCormick via their 87North banner, alongside Imagine’s Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody and Allan Mandelbaum.
Amazon, Imagine and 87North are keeping plot details locked in a vault, but the script is written by Mark Bianculli, who was a writer and consulting producer on Amazon’s Nazi hunting show Hunters.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the story centers on a group of savvy bank robbers who use social media to document their heists, playing a cat-and-mouse game with police. Bianculli and Imagine have spent the better part of a decade developing the project, according to sources. It is unclear who Hoult would play.
A summer shoot is being planned, and Amazon is planning to release the feature in theaters.

The show portrayed five friends’ experiences in Manhattan while they dealt with adulthood, careers, and relationships in their lives.

Live-service mobile game Star Wars Hunters is due to shut down its servers later this year, according to a new announcement on the official website. Released last year, Star Wars Hunters was an online PvP shooter, in which four-player teams of characters from throughout the Star Wars galaxy battle it out in a series of arena maps. Hunters in Destiny 2 have been through a turbulent cycle of nerfs to make them come on par with Titans and Warlocks. Hunters are known for their damaging abilities and have restrictive healing options. Unlike Titans and Warlocks, they can’t heal without inflicting damage.

During his quest to become the strongest, Sung Jinwoo encountered various magical beasts and although they couldn’t stand a chance against him, some of them were powerful enough to hold high ranks in his shadow army.
The High Orcs are one of the very few monsters in the Solo Leveling anime who have been given their distinct arc and described elaborately in one of the series’ most highly anticipated episodes. What do fans need to know about the High Orcs, and what sets them apart?

I never like to sit down to report devastating Star Wars news. And while it might be a small thing compared to a movie update or news about an actor's health, as someone who has been a dedicated fan of Star Wars Hunters since long before the game was released, I come to you with a lot of feelings. But I must fulfill my duty, and first report the news.
Earlier today, the game's official website announced that after September of this year, Hunters will no longer be playable on any platform.
"The final content update for Star Wars: Hunters on all platforms will be on April 15th," the official announcement reads. "The game will remain playable until October 1st, 2025, when the game’s online servers will be shut down."
So the game isn't quite over yet. On April 15, the final new playable hunter will be released to everyone for free,...

A line from Aaron Sorkin always pops into my head while watching shows like Long Bright River. During his run on The West Wing, he wrote, “The things we do to women.” The United States has the third-highest maternal death rate among developed nations. Opioid use has grown by 1,000% among women since 1999. Finally, one out of every six women will be sexually assaulted, and women have a higher likelihood of becoming homeless.
Long Bright River touches on all these subjects to paint a picture that no one wants for their daughter. Women who become addicted to drugs like heroin, a substitute for opioids, while living on the streets often turn to sex work to chase their next hit. That serves as the backdrop for an engaging story about a serial killer and a woman no one cares about.

We're still about eight months away from seeing Edgar Wright's adaptation of Stephen King's The Running Man, and to say anticipations are high would be an understatement. The original 1987 film with Arnold Schwarzenegger is considered a classic today, so the director has a tough task ahead of him to please fans of that movie, while at the same time appeasing King aficionados. He's at least halfway there thanks to his leading man, Glen Powell, whom Wright says he cast for a very specific reason.
Speaking with Empire about all things The Running Man, Wright – who became famous thanks to his Three Flavors Cornetto trilogy – said his decision to cast Powell as Ben Richards was to give his movie a bit more authenticity. If he had cast a big action star like Jason Statham or Tom Cruise, there would be a certain level of expectation from the audience due to their past work.
