Watched this film recently online.

It's a student film, but the maturity of storytelling here belies that kind of confining definition. Although it is one of what are many shorts addressing trans lifestyle, this direct chose a very small but meaningful way to address the challenge of coming out to a family member.

Jesse Keitel, who plays the lead, is spot on in her performance. Not a lot in terms of words, but a huge talent there.

Ryan Cutrona, who's had a long career including a great performance in Mad Men as a grandfather will alzheimers, never overplays his cards.

Beautiful production values and photography. And exceptional piece of film. Highly recommended.

It represents that kind of film giving a fragile balance, bitter poetry, the precise end and admirable performances. After its end, significant remains the state .An auto shop, a young son helping his father, a friend and an invitation to a party, the refuse and the revelation of the naked truth. A film about acceptance and about apparences. Seductive for the assumed risks , because the theme is not easy and the balance between garage work and night club is not the most accesible. But the director does more than a good job in this case. Result- a beautiful, in profound sense, short drama.

I saw this film about a month ago and I found it to be beautiful, subtle and nuanced and an accurate and grounded portrayal. As a former film student, I was truly blown away with the film, given the limited production resources, im sure!
