In the scene at the comedy club in Lubbock Texas, when the old woman, Peaches Davis (II) throws the beer bottle (a rubber prop) at Richard Dreyfuss, on the 1st take the bottle struck Dreyfuss squarely in the crotch! The entire cast and crew, including Dreyfuss, was laughing so hard it was several minutes before shooting could resume.

Goofs
About 30 minutes into the film, the guys are driving to San Diego/Tijuana, however the Interstate sign shows they are on I-5 NORTH. To get to Tijuana, they need to be going south.

Hope and friendship shining through

This film tells the story of two old guys who goes on a comedy tour.

The story is engaging, the Jones are good and I line the characters in the film. Even though there's a sad subplot, the film still maintains a light atmosphere, with hope and friendship shining through. I enjoyed the film.
