The Clearing

A good looking cover to a long, very boring movie with a lot of stupid plots.

I'm not a massive fan of zombie films. But this movie wasn't too bad. I've seen alot worse.

Using the backdrop of a Zombie apocalypse, this movie is focusing on the redemption of father/daughter relationship and tries hard to show the differences in our generation gap. The potential for a great film is there, but if by a great film you want one about zombies, maybe this is not for you. The characters are believable, the script is ok, the scenerio questionable but the backdrop is dodgy. If you want to see a movie about a dysfunctional Dad doing his best in an apocalyptic setting, look elsewhere.

What did I just waste a Saturday evening watching?

Full of cliches and massive plot holes. Why did the little girl leave the camper in the first place? For a person who rather play on her phone, why did she leave it? Zombies now can climb ladders and like to fist fight.
