As a veteran and a dog lover, this movie really hits home. Looking forward to a national rollout as it is a must see. Nice tie in at the end...but I will not give it away.
An emotional tale, well acted and produced. Honestly, the best movie I have view this year. I am hopeful this production makes it well on the national stage. Many layers of thoughtful circumstances of everyday life. A must see!
A story that needed to be told! And Anthony Hornus and DJ Perry told it well. They put together a great group of actors, and their dedication to the story and their craft came through on the screen. The focus on the dogs was a wonderful medium to get the larger problem brought to light. I liked it a lot, and I am looking forward to the DVD so I can see it again, and share it with my grandchildren.
Lots of solid performances from some very talented folks, with a positive, and engaging storyline. It's a film that anyone can appreciate, but it'll hold some special appeal for those whom advocate for veterans and animals, especially dogs.
This movie does a great job of blending lots of messages that don't get talked about enough. PTSD, treatment of our wounded soldiers, the inhumane treatment of animals, etc are all covered in this movie. It's very tasteful and the writing and acting are just amazing. I urge anyone to check it out!
