Healing Hands

Incredibly well done and moving documentary. May Yam and team have done a fantastic job with this short film. This documentary brings out the reality and challenges faced by children in a Third World country. The cast and crew clearly put their hearts into bringing this to the forefront. Hopefully enough people will see this.

This was a riveting documentary. It is deeply moving and leaves the audience in awe of the doctors and the medical group who made this happen. Seeing Third World children have a chance to start life without severe medical encumbrances does something amazing for the audience and the heart. I am glad there was a team to film this happening so the world can know.

This was an excellent documentary on medical teams helping children and adults in Namibia with lower body birth defects to be accepted in their communities and be healed of the limitations of those defects. Well done, moving and inspiring, beautiful cinematography! May Yam and crew care deeply about sharing the story of these marvelous teams and the people they help change and re-shape their lives.

Healing Hands is a is a beautiful, engaging, and multifaceted film that captures the impact a medical mission has in the lives of patients while also maintaining their dignity. While many people in developed countries are unfamiliar with conditions such as Club Foot, Healing Hands shows the degree the condition disables an individual and the impact it has on their families. In addition Director May Yam addresses the profound impact the mission has on the medical staff/volunteers. A great film about an important mission.
