Typecaste

This movie has this classic retro feel to it. Beatifully written and directed. Story and acting was on stop and empasis on cast just shine in movie. Comedy was fresh, story was fresh and movie FEEL was so nice. Last but not least, Music use was so beautiful. ONLY thing that was not that nice was the ending scene where he shout (JAAAT). It was somehow not fitting!

I did not know Shreyas is so taleted before this movie.

A must watch.

Typecast is a comedy movie directed by Sourabh Shrivastava and stars Shreyas Talpade and Aditi Sudhir Pohankar.

Although the movie is a satirical comedy pointing towards our baseless and ancient caste system the movie explores many subjects such as unemployment and how politicians control the education system.

Acting is great and to be honest Shreyas is one of the most underrated actors of the Bollywood. Aditi was impressive in her limited screen space. Direction is good and credit should be given to the director to raise the most important issue in the best comical way possible. Screenplay is crisp and gripping.

The best part of the movie is that the director didn't tried to stretch the movie unnecessarily in order to increase the length of the movie.

We need such more movie in the Bollywood which is currently struggling with good scripts. A must watch.
