One Dark Night: An Interview with Tom McLoughlin (2017)

Excellent interview with director Tom McLouglin who discusses his film ONE DARK NIGHT as well as some of his lesser known titles. He starts off talking about how he got the idea for ONE DARK NIGHT and then we go into the production of that film. From here we pretty much skip the beloved "Jason Lives" and go straight to his TV work. He talks about SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK and how this pretty much sent him into the made-for-television department. I really loved this interview because we get some good stories about ONE DARK NIGHT but what makes this so fascinating is getting to hear McLoughlin talk about the television work, which is something that there's no too much out there about. There's a terrific story about his three hour meeting with Marlon Brando and why that project somewhat didn't work out. There's some very good stories told about these lesser movies and we end with a nice little twist, which I won't ruin.
