Deadcon

One of those films where it's entertaining and decent enough for the most part, until it blows it with a pathetic unclimactic rushed ending leaving unanswered questions and a feeling of disappointment.

Had the final scene actually have been thought out to be a satisfying finale, it could be a solid 6-7 star movie. But it was a decent 5 star film up to the last bit which killed it and it gets a 3.5 outta me.

I will always try and look for some positives in a film...... but I'm struggling here. The artificial world of the empty celebrity has never really been something that I'm hugely drawn to, but I will review this film without any bias. So what exactly is happening to The YouTube star in Suite 2210A? Quite honestly after a few minutes you will have lost a huge proportion of your sensory awareness as you struggle to stick with the disjointed plot and vacuous characters who attach a relevance to such trash. Candy and make up, you will find more depth in a wafer.

These characters couldn't get killed off fast enough.

Good acting is the only reason why this is getting any stars. The f/x were decently done but they didn't have anything to back them up... like A STORY THAT MADE SENSE! I don't know if a lot of it ended up on the "cutting room floor" but the plot was just bonkers.

I just spent 1hr and 18 minutes of my life that I will never get back. It was foolish and naive of me to think that this film would be entertaining and ending have a twist that you wouldn't see coming. I was so wrong, none of the storylines come together in the end. The jump scares are extremely predictable and boring, the plot dragged if you even want to call it a plot. This film was lazily written and absolutely no thought was put into it. The writer clearly couldn't come up with a decent twist or explanation for the events depicted in the film. It honestly feels as if the director was changed several times for each scene as the narrative is unable to remain on the same course throughout. The film had so many subplots that its as if the writer couldn't decide which one to go along with and expand upon or didn't understand the meaning of an ending. The director would have no chance of getting away with saying "We want the audience to interpret what happened" as it is clearly obvious the creator had no idea what they were doing. I have seen low budget films with amatuer content that has been a lot more entertaining than this trash. I do feel sorry for the actors and crew members who did their best to make this movie but honestly, watching paint dry would be more entertaining than this.
