If you like short films intended to showcase non-working actors from acting class, this is your chance. This isn't about telling a story, it's about padding the resume, the IMDB credits, and the demo reel. Sorry, I wanted to like this short, I like shorts and I like actors, but this is just an expensive demo reel.

This one hit very deep. This short has an unexpected plot twist that I didn't imagine . Leaves you with a sense of reflection you didn't have before watching. I cried! :) Im looking forward to more from this director and team!
Eye opening, with an amazing twist that I never saw coming. An accurate portrait of human emotion and weakness. I believed every second of it! I'm
looking forward to seeing more from LA Acting Studios.
I knew I was watching quality filmmaking from the moment this short began. The first few minutes proved me correct; but I had no way to anticipate how affected I would be by this thrilling collaborative work.
400 to Oahu moved me to tears before I realized what was happening to me emotionally.
I don't often get surprised anymore; but just as I was regrouping from shedding a few tears, I found that my mouth was agape from the gasp this film had just illicited.
This is a whip smart, superbly crafted ensemble piece.
Everything from the writing, editing, award winning acting and directing fits together like a perfect, satisfying puzzle.
I cannot wait to see more from this team.
I really enjoyed this short. I understand that it was for the 48 hour film festival, which is great and all, but I'm left wanting more. I want more!!!! I wish it was a feature length film! The story and concept was really cool, and the acting was spot on. Sequel? Eh, it was worth a shot.

- Trivia400 to Oahu was originally part of the 2017 Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Project, but a secondary edit was done on the film afterwards making the film how the producers ultimately intended for the film to be seen. The full 400 to Oahu film includes scenes that were not able to be included in the original version thus making the final version a completely different film over twice the original length.
