Don't expect too much of this movie and you'll probably enjoy it. It's very predictably but still a sweet story. I especially liked that it's about the relationship between father and daughter and not another light weight romantic comedy.
I did think the supporting actors were a bit too stereotypical and the ending was slow but all in all an okay movie.

Kelsey Grammer and Kristen Bell have good chemistry. The story is simple and meaningful, about connecting with people. Worth a watch.
Yes, yes, it's good publicity for Royal Caribbean, you know that within a few minutes. Best to move on and enjoy the great characters, nicely acted, playing out a story that's not always as predictable as it could be, against great scenery. Faint praise? Not really, this is firmly a genre piece, but the characters are more nuanced than usual, with Grammer's Harry especially interesting. We enjoyed it loads and found it rather touching.
The story's just a tad slow and the Royal Caribbean advertising is pretty in your face, but the movie is still worth a watch. It tells a nice story emphasizing the importance of family, forgiveness, and moving forward.
I didn't find it slow at all and enjoyed every moment. Kelsey Grammer did not disappoint and made this movie especially good. I would recommend it to friends!

- GoofsWhen Rachel describes that the Pina Colada song is about cheating, she mixed up the story. She said that the husband puts an ad in the paper and the wife responds to it because she is also thinking about cheating. It was actually the wife who put the ad in and he responded to hers.
