Acid Pit Stop

This is a film that lacks just about any assemblance of any skill, poor performances, poor story, poor everything. Feels like it was made for all of £2.50 and that's being optimistic, my how Bruce Payne has slid down the scale.

I can see what the writer/director was going for with this. Shaun of the Dead springs to mind. But Shaun of the Dead this is very much not.

Poor sound, lighting, poorly shot and a mish-mash of makeup effects (not so horrendous but definitely far from good) and extremely low budget CGI (definitely horrendous).

However, the kicker for me was the acting. Or in this case lack of acting. The cast were a somewhat eclectic collective who frankly had no chemistry, looked out of place, and were wooden and perhaps most unforgivable, just not funny.

Everything else you can ignore but a lack of comedy in a comedy defeats the point of actually watching it. The story was non-existent. Tired tropes, though had it of been well directed/shot you might have a made a few quid on. However, at times you couldn't hear what was being said, the supporting cast were laughably bad and the extras (zombies) looked like they'd been borrowed from a teenage drama group.

Horror comedy is a niche that when done well is phenomenal (SotD, or Dale and Tucker vs Evil as great examples). This however, is neither horror nor comedy. As the title of the film suggests, this is very much an acid pit stop prior to diving into a very bad trip.

If you're looking for a mediocre horror as background noise, whilst you do other things. Go elsewhere.

Bad acting through out I can't believe it got a 6.5 on here false advertising!

Good but really could of used more boobs. Had the cast to make even better just missed out on utilizing them right.

This one is a bad comedy. It gets 2 Stars because I watched it to the end and it gets an extra star because they did show some boobs. Otherwise what a horrid stinkfest. Seriously I write better things than this in my sleep. 3/10
