        Good Enough

" Linking Love " had an interesting idea to use as a trigger point to basically present an japanese idol girl group.

This movie, first of all, will appeal mainly to idol group fans. And that because the second half was full of music and music acts, with cute choreographies and flashy costumes. I do wish they focused more on the bonding of the group members and not just some of them, or at least a more proper introduction to some of the girls.

The main story about the family bonds was nice though. The two main characters had nice chemistry and they had many bonding moments. However, the story line abouth what made the parents broke up in the first place, or the girl's dreams of becoming an idol and her struggles, or the fantasy part, were not nicely and in depth explored. Maybe if this was a drama, every aspect of the story would have more room to be properly developed.

Finally, the performances were good, especially from the leading lady, who was adorable and bubbly. The music acts were good too.

So, overall, five out of ten.

"Anime and idol are proudly Japanese culture"

This review's title is a quote from a line in this movie. This film is over Anime and Japanese girls' idol. The director, Shusuke Kaneko has erabolated this work fabricating these atractive elements into a well-made comical Sci-Fi story. Obviously the story was inspirated by some American movies such as "Back to the future", "Sister Act" and "Pitch Perfect". It is one of enjoyable attractions of this to find which part is quoted from these(In fact, "Back to the future" is refered to in the movie). However, the point to evaluate this work is the cute, beautiful and talented actors who show some wonderful and magnificent dance sequences, namely Anna Ishibashi, Asuka Hinoi and Yu Mashima. These sequences may reach beyond the expectation of movie lovers who even have been fed up with many dance sequences of American movies. This movie's dance sequences are drawn from Japanese famous Idol group "AKB48". Some have known this group, but the fame of them is just localized in Asian area. This movie may be able to trigger to atract the popularity of Japanese idol from the world. To add some trivial things, the favoritism forward a specific menber of idol group is called "OSHI" meaning "push" in English. My "OSHI" is Yu Mashima playing the role "Sachie". I push her. She has pure and innocent appearance with high level of sports skill. This movie can exhibit very Japanese culture and also intoroduce Japanese new talented actors.
