The movie is funny in parts but doesn't make sense at all. After all the heavy buildup and hype for Nayantara as some feminist and a strong-willed woman, she falls for Nivin who is an absolute knob in the movie. Dhyan does try to portray some positive dimensions of Nivins character, but it falls flat. After all the stunts that Nivin pulls not only with Nayantara but also her dad, no idea why anybody would accept to marry him (lol). A stupid movie overall, compounded by the fact that both Nivin and Nayan are such good actors. If it were some newbies the film would have been okay, but with this starcast, it's a crime to give them a half baked script with confusing characters.
This movie had me expecting a lot, considering that Nayantara and Nivin are stellar actors and with a strong supporting cast, this should have been the rom-com of the year. But it isn't.
The movie revolves are the will-it-wont-it relationship between Nivin and Nayantara's characters. A lot of negatives in this film which really put me off:
1. A non-linear narrative that tries to be edgy, but does not really take you anywhere - there's barely any story. Weak script. Weak screenplay. The last 15 minutes were the only remotely interesting part of the movie.
2. Cringe-worthy jokes. There are about 2 memorable jokes in a movie that tries to make 200 of them.
3. The movie spends a lot of time on the characters' drinking and smoking habits - get this - triggered by a failed puppy love relationship. The multiple drinking scenes do not add any dimension to Nivin or Aju's characters. Nivin remains a born rich but good for nothing, Aju remains a bum cousin. Nivin's is a very superficial character. It's obvious he has insecurities, but, you don't feel any sympathy for him because he is a dick for the most part of the movie.
4. Nayantara is supposed to be a feminist, but there is nothing justifying that anywhere in the movie. She does not bring her full acting prowess, her make up is through the roof, and her character is shallow and terribly lacks logic.
5. The movie as a whole makes no sense to me. Each lead character became more pathetic as the movie progresses, they seem without basic sense. The characters don't have any arc, they remain who they were at the beginning of the movie. A very toxic relationship is somehow portrayed as oh-so-precious, neither of them grow in the relationship, it just oscillates between will-it-wont-it. Neither lead character brings any goals or milestones or anything of value to the relationship, but, because it's love (WTF), they just have to think of marriage. A terrible portrayal of love.

Bad movie. No sense.Music one song first song was ok. Cheap script. Dhyan go and learn direction and do movies. Even cameo role of Vineeth Sreenivasan was poor. Nepotism, pure nepotism.
