Terrible piece of garbage

What a pointless pile of dung this movie is. It is just full of derivative cliches taken from Patton and The Departed and other good movies. It is boring and has laughable acting. That army general is just a silly, buffoonish character. It is hard to imagine this garbage got made

Horrible

Horrible movie! I was giving it a more of a chance than I normally would because it was about Alcatraz, but as soon as I saw the General with his civilian biker-style moustache and modern style military uniform with velcro... turned it off.

Don't waste your time.

Prison interiors were filmed at the Old Police Cells Museum in Brighton and the Police Cells at The Island in Bristol, UK. Exterior footage and some additional interior shots were filmed at the actual prison in Alcatraz, San Francisco, which is now a tourist attraction.
