Time Traveller

Although the title of this short film is Time Traveller, it's not actually about time travel. Instead, it follows the dreams of a young boy obsessed with Back to the Future. He collects scrap and discarded items from people's yards, determined to transform a broken car into a replica of the time machine from his favorite movie.

His family is poor and lives in a trailer on a field, but they are being evicted from their campsite. The film focuses on the boy's desperate attempt to finish his "time machine" before they have to leave.

The movie is heartfelt and highlights the importance of family during tough times. The acting is decent, though the accents are quite thick, so I had to really focus on what the characters were saying. However, even if you miss some dialogue, the message of the film still comes through clearly. Overall, spending 11 minutes watching this short film isn't a bad choice.

Funny and heartwarming througout. Great perfomances all around especially the leading kid. On the surface there's really nothing stands out in the story.

One of beautiful films, for honest perspective, about childhood dreams, about family and new beginnings, about relation father - son and about ...happiness.

Great acting and, for the work of young. Tom Doran, just pure gratitude. A film about the dream, influenced by Back to the Future of a little boy , working to an old car for the expected and realistic time travel.

The irony of his brothers, the difficulties of his parents are out of his interest. And what seems an utopia becomes true experience for wisedome and love and young spirit of his father.

A great short film about essential things, well crafted, admirable acted.
