Maybe this is funny in France. I have no idea. But it's so so bad. The jokes fall flat and rely entirely on thin cliches and tired, played out stereotypes. I couldn't make it through this garbage film.
There was 2 or 3 laugh out loud moments but at best it was watchable it's wasn't boring as such but unoriginal and nothing new to the scene watching dubbed in English I do wonder if some of it was lost in translation also as most fell flat. Could have been a lot worse however.
A bad copy of Hangover. Not funny, predictable, a story full of sterotypes.
It's almost a shame that Xavier Gens seems to have to resort to making movies like this. On the other hand maybe he actually chose this. Whatever the case this feels like a Spring Break movie for adults. It of course has other things to offer but in its heart or in a nutshell this is it.
Now Budapest may be a party city, Jerusalem is for sure, but one of the reasons they probably chose it, is because it is cheap to shoot there. Eastern Europe is a welcome region for many movies, because you have knowledgeble film people/technicians there, but also do not have to spend too much money making a movie there. Something they used here - including some rumors or prejudices we may have about the city I reckon ... you can have fun with this as with many other movies, but you have to be in the right mind set

I watch this film after my travel to Budapest, I liked it a lot. People are nice, streets are clean and calm, incredible infrastructure despite it small size on map. This film is a caricature of french desires for cheap, and its only complete these 2 actors that always find something provoking in films that has nothing with reality. It is pathethic, and unpleasant to watch, no values, no love, no respect.
