We enjoyed the different art styles. Pretty hilarious! And the storyline held up to standards.
I think that it's a good idea to involve the fans in the show to this degree. It also puts a fun spin on the program.
I am a huge fan of Bob's Burgers (I watch it all the time, all of the seasons). I especially loved this episode and would consider it to be one of my top all time favorites! My friends and I are even planning a Brunchsquatch brunch party (burgers, mimosas, this episode playing, etc!). The use of fan art really showed the commitment to connecting with fans and the Bob's Burgers community. While I do understand how it could have been hard to watch at times with the quick transitions between styles, I think it was worth it to demonstrate the range in which the animators are capable of and the strength in the plot to be able to withstand any visual distractions. Overall, I loved the episode, the use of fan art, and the idea of Brunchsquatch in general!
Yeah I agree the changing styles was a bit distracting from the story, but it wasn't a great plot to begin with so no biggie. I thought it was cool seeing all the different animations. Each time a scene cut you never know what you're about to get. I think it was a very fun idea. Not a very good episode, definitely kitschy but interesting. Not as bad as some others are making it.
I have watched BB for a long time...have seen all the episodes. I'm not against the version with multiple animation styles.... but Does anyone else remember this episode with the normal animation style? It's bothering me fr....
