Dominic Kates in Viscera (2019)
For Dylan Hayden (Dominic Kates), life has been outwardly idyllic, but internally agonizing. He lives every day with the fractured memories of atrocities he witnessed a decade earlier as a young boy: the murders of his parents and two sisters. To help cope with the upcoming 10-year anniversary of the now infamous and high-profile murders, Dylan agrees to be the subject of a documentary directed by opportunistic true crime vlogger Ethan Lewis (Cody Kilpatrick Steele). As Dylan's repressed memories gradually resurface, he begins to doubt everything he has ever known about his family's past - including the truth about his own brother's involvement in the murders. And when a series of events leads to a renewed public interest in the case, Dylan must confront the truth on his own and find closure once and for all.

Also starring Aimee Theresa, Giancarlo French, Bill Ushler, Erica Soto, Dakota Skye Kates, Roger Conners, with Mark Cray, and Devin Kates. Cinematography by Derek Huey and Jess Grace Garcia. Music by Alexandre Llanes. Written and directed by Anthony Spadaccini.

    Emotionally Evocative

Watch closely and feel the true anguish as a young man comes learns to deal with an horrific event from his childhood. This is a beautiful and realistically filmed piece with great acting, surprising and excellent special effects, and lovely cinematography, topped off with a beautiful original score. No spoilers, but certain poignant moments in the film had me in tears and when the film was over, I too found myself dealing with things from the past I had long buried. Kudos to writer/director Anthony Spadaccini for giving is such an emotionally evocative piece.

    Inspiring

This movie is captivating from beginning to end. The story line was thought provoking and poignant. The acting was excellent with intense scenes. This film is cathartic for any young person with problems and at the same time hopeful for their loved ones. I highly recommend it. *****

    Surprisingly emotional film

Not at all what I was expecting. Ethan surprised me multiple times. He and Dylan were perfect for their parts, I felt and sympathized with the pain that both had, even while hating Ethan. Had to watch twice just to see if I missed anything at first since the was a completely different movie then I thought it would be going in. Anthony is a master storyteller who grabs your attention and doesn't let go until the credits roll.

    An Emotional Journey

This film took me on a journey I didn't expect. Cody Steele does a fantastic job of portraying this attention seeking loner that's just looking for that next big shocking story to tell. I found myself questioning if he, in real life, was related to Mark Cray, as their voices were very similar. Cody NAILED the cadence of Mark's voice. Now lets talk about Dominic, who plays Dylan... I found Dylan to be awkward, uncomfortable, troubled, battling something he's not ready to let out. Dominic did a wonderful job of bringing that to life and creating an emotional connection with the viewer. When he cried, I cried... Bravo. The music was perfect. And I believe the locations that were used to shoot were beautiful and fit the movie very well. I surprised in the end and the turn it all took. I have my theory on how this story would continue and will keep that in my mind for now.

Over all, I loved the film. The story was captivating and kept me wanting to watch. I hope this journey for Dylan continues, I guess that is for me as well!

BRAVO to the entire cast. Cheers to the director and I can tell this was a total labor of love.
